Iâve previous put a review on this cafe and i think I was generous with my comments but not this time Iâm afraid. In my opinion the cafe has gone from bad to worse. I was there this morning with my grandson .we had tea and toast which was fine until i went for the cutlery.to say it was dirty was an understatement. There was hard food stuck to a lot of the knives and the rest were stained like they had just been rinsed under the tap.Come on Tesco pull your socks up If you want to run a cafe successfully at least keep it clean

lucy mays café is now @ 5 Daniel owen precinct mold. we have a very wide selection of home cooked meals and desserts @ a very reasonable price and breakfasts that will fill you up for the whole day ,with a free cup of tea or coffee and toast with every br
Called in with a friend for a breakfast. My friend had a large traditional breakfast... price £650 and got an okayish one.I had a cup of tea and sausage and egg bap...Priced £4.80What i was served was the smallest bun with two small sausage cut open and had to be half stacked on top of each other plus a runny egg that was all over the plate coz there was no bun left for it to run on to..I would describe this as a small bread roll rather than bun or bap..Price for my roll £3.20So definitley on my meal not value for money and felt ripped offWill i go back... no Sorry to hear you didn't feel you had value. When we surveyed people in the past ,they said they didn't like too much bread ,so we purchased smaller baps that only cost a couple of pence less to please the majority of our loyal customers.Your egg would have been cooked harder if you had requested this when you orderdOur prices compare favourably with other local shops.O by the way our large breakfast is £6.50 NOT £650 and consists of 2 bacon 2 egg 2 sausage 2 black pudding beans tomato mushrooms hash brown 2 slices of toast and a tea or coffee
Popped in for brunch after doing some shopping. Great breakfast, great value and service with a smile!Warm and comfortable environment, like being cooked for at home. Staff are friendly, with chef himself coming to check everything was okay; everything was delicious! Will be back next time we are in Mold!!

Passing through on odd occasions found this ideally located to town and market , opted for traditional full english despite the sandwiches looking fab.Tasty meal of reasonable value and friendly service to boot.

Stopped off here on a rainy Sunday and was pleasantly surprised, good coffee nicely presented tea. I had a ham and cheese croissant and my partner had a sausage bloomer which came with what looked like homemade tomato chutney.Tasty, reasonably priced and friendly staff :)

We came across this little cafe on a day trip to Mold. From the outside it looked freshly renovated as was the inside. The choice on the menu was good and reasonably priced. As we were there on market day it was very busy hence the wait for our order to come. The food was good, the staff were friendly and the place was very clean. There were very few cafes like this in Mold so we will be calling here again when we are in town.

Caffi Florence is a great place to eat in the heart of Loggerheads Country Park. Located between Mold and Ruthin in the Clwydian Range area of outstanding natural beauty. Beautiful woodland, riverside walks make this the perfect spot to relax, eat and dri
What else can I say but amazing. Was out with my family for a bank holiday walk around Loggerheads, we stopped at the caffi for lunch the staff we all very polite and helpful even when it was extremely busy. The food was great and the cake selection had so much choice. Iâm surprised to see people are complaining on here but I guess some people are hard to please xThank you CathyI agree, all the staff are lovely and I'm very proud of each and every one of them, they cope extremely well with a very busy work load. The chefs pride themselves on their baking so I'm glad you enjoyed!Niky

You can tell a good eating venue when the food doesn't arrive straight away, when you can't hear a microwave 'ping' and when they make every effort to cater for allergies/diet preferences. The bread is exceptional here and everthing has flavour and is freshly prepared. Staff are lovely and as others have said - it may be small - but it is a gem.

Mold High Street Cafe. Homemade Cakes. Coffee.
me and a work colleague went to the cafe on a friday mirning having never been in mold before for food so didnt really know where to go and this place was the first we stumbled across, we went in and were served quickly, my mate ordered 2 sausage sandwiches one with a coffee and one with an orange juice and he went to pay, the staff member said its ok you pay later so we sat down and wsited for our food and drinks, it came out and it was pretty meagre in size and the drinks were nothing special, luckily for me my mate said he will pay and went up to pay and it came to £17 absolutely scandalous, if they had prices blatantly obviuos to customers i would have turned around and walked out but the fact they make you pay after you have consumed your food is a dirty tactic, absolutely disgusting behaviour I hope they go bust. onky gave this a one star rating because there was no option for zero.

Edenshine is very proud to serve excellent homemade foods. We focus on using fresh local ingredients as much as possible to provide high quality meals, from Breakfast, lunch, light bites and Afternoon Teas. Pudding is a real treat with everything baked in
A delightful restaurant contained within an old converted woollen mill which also houses an antique department beautifully laid out and full of wonderful items. The restaurant serves delicious home made food in the form of lunches and afternoon teas and the menu is substantial with a wide range to suit all tastes. The restaurant is licenced and bottles of wine are very reasonably priced. There is a large car park and outdoor seating. Not far from a junction on the A55 signposted Caerwys. Excellent service without being intrusive. Highly recommended and looking forward to my next visit. PLEASE DISREGARD MY USERNAME AS IT is inappropriate for this review.
