We were excited to find a vegan cafe close to where we were staying. Went there twice. The first time we enjoyed good coffee, vegan treats and a yummy smoothie bowl. The second time was terrible. We waited more than an hour for hummus toast which consisted of a smear of âhummusâ topped with tomatoes and salad. I canât work out why it took so long. I asked them what the hold up was and was given a noncommittal answer. I did want to leave before we were served but was persuaded by my family to persevere. Wish I hadnât. The menu doesnât have many lunch options and is expensive for what is on offer. Itâs a shame that that a great concept is ruined by such poor service and attitude.Hello Virginia, Thank you for the review. Sorry you didn't have the expected experience at our cafe. We will improve our service based on your feedback! Please let us know next time if you did not enjoy any of our meals, we will not charge you for the meal. Vegan Family
Opal Food Corner is known as the best restaurant in Mirissa region because they are not famous but the food are the best of them all. This restaurant offers various kinds of food such as seafood, traditional food, bbq, rotties and especially kottu and sha
First impression is not the greatest when you pass by but donât let that turn you away. The very small but family run eatery makes the best (among other dishes) chicken kottu in Sri Lanka, and trust me, weâve had few. We never waited more than 10 minutes for our lunch (mind you, it was off season) and we played jenga, cards and read the food recommendation on the walls :)The owner and his wife are really nice characters, always smiling and happy to chat. Always making sure you have enough on your plate. We would definataly come back again and again if we didnât have to leave. Little gem worth checking out!

A little cozy place with chilling atmosphere and tasty house food. Healthy food And Vegan options (!)Daily from 8:30 a.m. we are start served breakfast. Check our Space)))
I was nicely surprised by the food we had here. The restaurant is, in fact, a garden nicelly decorated with tables and chairs in a turkish way(you can seat on the ground while eating-that somehow reminds you of Turkish or Lebanease restaurants). The food is as tasty as it looks and the mood is very cosy and relaxing. It is great for breakfast, brunch or dinner id you like outdoor restaurants. They serve great juices, breakfast bowls with cereals and fruits that are extremelly tasty and the main food has of touch of leabanease food which is very inviting. If you are in the mood of relaxing and eating good food, you should try Wood Space!

Had lunch here next to the beach, good location. The Cafe is very basic and just a shack with some old tables and chairs, the Rotis and Kottu were good as were the juices but the service was very slow although we weren't in any rush as it was on the beach and the view is good

Had the chicken tortilla wrap and the chicken had definitely been cooked/ fried a couple of weeks before, then frozen and then re-heated. It was unpalatable.Would not recommend, left all of it. Dear Guest, We are very sorry that your experience with us was poor. We take great care in serving our guests with food that is best in taste as well as in quality. Therefore, we are not sure of what took place here. Nevertheless, our apologies. Eat.....Live.....Love

Smoothie bowl, breakfast and brunch bar located in Mirissa. Serving delicious healthy favourites like wholemeal bread, Avo toast, poached eggs with a local twist!
Lovely eggs and coffee. Its modern and has an Australian coffee shop design to its look. The only thing that didn't make this review 5 star are the flies and the fact the waiters would clear a plate before the other person was done.
