Charming courtyard cafe, oozing with historic character, serving a modern light cafe menu. You can catch Yard46 at The Factory Tap serving sourdough pizza on Tuesday evenings too ;)
It is the first time since taken over We three ladies have visited. The food was good , but it took us a while to order as the menu is very limited. Two ladies had a bacon bun I had the soda bread with tomatos . Tea for all of us .Staff friendly , clean & cosy place .

Turkish inspired cafe serving hot and cold food, meze, cakes fabulous coffees and teas, wine, beer and soft drinks. Most meals also available for takeaway.
So glad we stopped by for lunch after reading the reviews on here. We received a warm and friendly greeting, in fact all the staff were charming. All the food looked fresh and delicious and we had a hard time deciding what to eat. Eventually we chose the soup of the day and a borek. Huge bowl of soup with excellent sourdough bread. The borek was very tasty too. Coffee and mint tea very good.We will definitely find an excuse to return soon.

Set in the beautiful village of Arnside over looking the Estuary and stunning views of the Lake District We pride ourselves on our home baked food from pies and quiches to scones. we are introducing amazing tasting home baked pizza to eat in or take out.
Arnside has been crying out for something different as The Albion and Fighting Cocks have struggled in recent years. Well now itâs here. Along with Gado Gado The Arnside Bore is a huge breath of fresh air. Thank goodness. No more wandering along the sea front hoping to find somewhere to eat at good quality and price. Had the Tapas which was superb. I travel the world and this place is up there with the best. Great service, a passionate chef and owners, I really hope people take note and call in. Itâs not just a meal, itâs an experience. Thank you. Will be back many times, I sincerely hope others will follow. The other eateries should see this place as a challenge and not a threat. Locals and visitors are fed up with poor choice and service. So up your game to Arnside Bore standards and everyone will gain. For us itâs Arnside Bore and Gado Gado tip of the list. Superb engaging service tonight. Thank you. Thank you so much for your lovely review , as weâve said to others our aim is to give a first class experience and to provide excellent service and food , it makes the hard work so worth while knowing that you enjoyed your food and your evening with us , we will look forward to seeing you again Amanda

Harry's Cafe Bar is a delightful cafe full of antiques and character, situated within Yew Tree Barn, a huge Lake District barn, home to WRS Architectural Antiques, Galleries and studios. Take a seat in the stylish quirky cafe and choose from the menu or s
Called in here unexpectedly for lunch. You do now have to wait to be seated. Unfortunately fireplace area with comfy chairs is no longer there but more tables and chairs have been put in their place. Food and drinks excellent. Staff friendly.Thank you very much for your appreciation following lunch with us. You are right that it's a shame we have had to lose the comfy area, but despite our previous expansion we still required more seating for people to enjoy the cafe food and drink, for which we need proper tables and chairs. (Waiting to be seated just means that the staff are aware of new customers, and ensures fairness in the order of orders!) We appreciate you taking the time to review us, and hope to see you again.

Nice soup, coffee and scones in a well serviced cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots to choose from on their menu.Hi - thank you for your comments Salmo01Lovely to hear that you enjoyed your visit to our popular café. Our menu is designed to cater for a wide range of diners (including vegan and gluten free options) and we try to source much of our produce locally, where we can.I hope we'll see you again soon! after a very difficult day whilst up in Arnside, I found a lovely place to chill out on the Promenade. It was a glorious day, despite a rather stressful morning, but found the welcome and the tea a prefect way to lift my mood.It double as a gift shop, so if you don't mind people standing next to your table browsing. I recommend a visit.

We stopped here on our way home for a quick bite to eat. The tea room itself was fairly quiet. I ordered a ham and piccalilli sandwich and my husband ordered the cheese and pickle sandwich. We were asked by a member of staff if we would like white bread or granary, we both chose granary. I was slightly disappointed when it arrived as they both were not sandwiches there were actually dry wholemeal buns, my husbands pickle was lovely but the piccalilli which arrived in a small bowl looked to be watered down. It was difficult to place on the bun as it was incredibly runny and just kept rolling and dripping of the bun itself, I gave up in the end. Couldnât mention this to a member of staff and they seemed to disappear very quickly.

Levens Kitchen is located in the beautiful grounds of Levens Hall.
We were delighted with the new cafe, light and airy, tasteful decor, very tranquil, polite and very efficient staff! Interesting, varied menu, whatâs not to like. Unfortunately, this lovely place has been discovered by a group of sweaty, lycra clad male cyclists of a certain age. They burst in, shouting to one another down the length of the cafe, congregated in the space between the tables and the counter, hovering over tables of customers trying to ignore them whilst eat their meals! One of them stripped off tight fitting sleeves and swung them around trying to dry them! Having lycra clad nether regions at head height whilst trying to eat poached eggs is quite frankly, down right distasteful! Surely, these âoutdoor athletesâ should be encouraged to eat outside for reasons of hygiene not to mention common decency!

Popped in here for a quick cuppa after visiting the Bay Search and Rescue next door. We had been told about this place so I guess my expections were quite high. It wasn't quite what I expected but drinks and service ok but pretty basic inside.Thank you for taking the time to review our cafe. We are about the homemade food cooked on the premises. The hams, beef, lamb pork joint. Huge Yorkshire puddings, homemade creamy mash, steak pies, hotpots, scones, crispy coated chips, not just 9 different teas, 7 coffees, milkshakes, ice cream sundaes, not withstanding amazingly friendly service so we hope next time you are in the area you would maybe try more than a cup of tea, and we look forward to seeing you again
