o is Ciboulette et Cie." Remember the vibrant flavours and a home-cooked meal? Though Canadian families have grown increasingly busy, few of us have forgotten how delicious a home-cooked meal can be. But who has time anymore? Ciboulette et Cie is here to
We drove to Midland specifically to have lunch here and the menu didn't disappoint. But (and it's a big but), nothing we had lived up to our expectations, based on the TA ratings. Although the texture was nice, the Tomato Bisque was absolutely bland and unexciting. The burger (admittedly without a bun) was so overcooked, it was difficult to eat - even covered in tomato and aoli. The veggie (beet) burger was apparently ok and the frites that accompanied the burgers were good. The ordered latte simply never arrived...... I doubt we will return or recommend it to others.Hello AnnL3177, Thanks for the post, sorry to hear that your experience with us wasn't up to par. Can I ask what date and what time of day you were in? If anything, the complaints you have are the complete opposite of what we usually hear; especially on the burger front. Feel free to reach out via email at [email protected] as I would love to hear more about your experience as well as see what we can do to make it up to you.
Where to eat Canadian food in Midland: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Tucked into the back of their antique/curiousity shop, the owners of the Olde Town Library Cafe have developed a terrific little place for a light lunch, sweet dessert or excellent Midland roasted coffee. Regulars come & go while newbies & tourists hang out with the friendly folks. Great place to shop & then put your feet up for a bit. Definitely would recommend for a salad or sandwhich & butter tart.
This is the best lunch buffet bar none I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Itâs all you can eat for 7.95 plus tax and itâs healthy. The curried chicken is amazing. Returned to Midland for Christmas and had lunch four times in the first week back and once this week. The summer buffet is equally fabulous.
Absolutely fantastic service during our lunch. Waiter was attentive and was quick to top our drinks up and ensured we had a pleasant experience. The food came out in a timely fashion. The chef even came out to ask how our meal was, this thoroughly impressed me. The shrimp pesto pasta dish I had was flavourful with a light, but creamy sauce. I am usually hesitant to get pasta dishes at restaurants because I find they can be bland, but this dish was fantastic! My husband loved his clubhouse as well. We will be back! :)
