This long slim shop entered from the main street dates from the 19th Century and is still family owned. The pastry is to die for. In all the years I have been going the same amazing lady runs the pastry counter which has a permanent queue (dont forget to take a number!!). I go once a year and she recognises me with her warm smile and the sfogliatelle and baba are reference quality. The coffee is the best in town and the whos who of Avellino meet here every morning. this is truly a cultural experience.
