Breakfasts of full champion portions quality and choices. Really wonderful atmosphere and superb menu. Highly recommend the breakfast. Was directed to this establishment by a local and yes, I would agree with him, this is an A1 breakfast spot - pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, all of just a joy

My husband and I are so happy that we made it to Mule House Cafe while hiking in Reds Meadow. We took the shuttle to the Devil's Postpile stop and then hiked from the Postpile to Rainbow Falls and then to Reds Meadow Resort. After over 6 miles, we were so hungry and ready to chow down. My husband ordered the special which was a Turkey Club sandwich. I got the hamburger with potato salad. Our food hit the spot! The best part of our meal was dessert: Peach Pie a la mode! The pie was hot and covered in ice cream. We devoured it in less than 2 minutes. We will definitely come back here next time we are hiking in this area of Mammoth!

Whether it's for breakfast or lunch, this place inside the Main Lodge at Mammoth Mountain is an outstanding place to eat. Set up like a kind of food court, the food is always fresh and well prepared, and the portions are generous. The breakfast menu is imaginative and delicious. Whether it's their creative scrambles, breakfast burrito with chorizo, mountain muffin sandwich or red bone gravy dishes, you will enjoy it and be full. All their bakery goods are made on premises. At lunch it's hard to choose from a fresh salad, Mexican specialties, pizza or sandwiches. it's all good.
