Reviews on Cafe food in Lviv, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. A city with a lively history, Lviv (also spelled L’viv and Lvov) in Ukraine’s west was founded in the 13th century and has changed flags many times in the years since, having been part of Poland, Austria-Hungary and the Soviet empire. The city’s well-preserved historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has attractions like the Market Square (Ploshcha Rynok). Climb the tower at the town hall for a great city view. The Lviv Opera House is dazzling and hosts world-class performances.

Cafe with a pleasant atmosphere, delicious cuisine and friendly staff. Dogs friendly.
Cool hipster vibes in this cafe. I was there for lunch and got the vegetarian burger. It was very good.

L'affinage is a 'petit' cheese-shop & cafe of artisan Ukrainian cheeses. We will tell you about everything we know: the production, the correct presentation, cutting, cheeses worldwide, the art of making cheese dishes, even cheesy legends and cheese-makin
A fairly new place that sells locally produced cheeses and international wines (the Ukrainian ones are bad). Fair prices and very friendly service. Located in a courtyard but limited seating. The goat and sheep cheeses are great. They also have some nice looking desserts. Recommended.Hello! First of all thank you for review! We love your comments and soon we`ll have new wine card and some interesting cheese meals in winter menu! Saying "Hi" from our cheese experts and to the next visit!

We fell upon this restaurant late in the evening and luckily they were still serving. The staff were friendly and their English was good, which is handy as our Ukrainian is basic. The drinks were well priced, although their wine list was a little pricey, and the food was lovely. The only criticism was that both pasta dishes (ravioli with porcini and tagliatelle with salmon and prawns) although very tasty, were served on stone cold plates which meant the food was cold within seconds. Such a shame as this restaurant is a winner in every other way.

Cat Cafe in Ukraine. Desserts, coffee and cats :)
Group of six friends, noon, place half empty. 50 minutes waiting before getting any sort of attention from the waiters (which we had to call multiple times), orders arrived in random order within the span of an hour (a couple of drinks first 2 people, then cake for another, then salad for the third etc), they even forget to bring cutlery and failed to do so before asking them another 3 times, and some dishes were never delivered at all.The place is nice, cats are lovely and food is good, but with this kind of service I wouldnt recommend it to anyone - is terrible even by Eastern European standards.

The food here, especially for breakfast is really great, but this restaurant must staff up (or re-train existing staff) on how to manage a larger crowd. I had breakfast here last week, during one of Lviv's busiest summer week's - the Leopolis Jazz Festival. We were promptly seated at one of their outside tables and it took them forever to take our order, and even longer to bring us our food. What was strange is that both my husband and I ordered coffee first - mine came out but he had to wait an additional 10 minutes for his to come out - that's poor service! Once we both had our coffees, it took another 20 minutes for the food to come out - and we didn't order anything complex. What made me more frustrated than anything else, was that other patrons around us who were seated after us, were being attended to much more quickly. When I mentioned this to the waitress she replied that they were understaffed.. which is not an excuse given the irregularity of the service. If you plan on coming here, make sure you have time to sit around and wait for your food. Otherwise, wait to see how long it takes and then decide whether it's worth your time. Our party of 2 had savory & sweet crepes orange juice and coffee.

A restaurant in your imagination only. It is a building of a chimney sweeper and his family where Lviv legends live. The chimney sweeper and his family members collect books about Lviv in their library, protect Lviv lions, watch the water level of the Pol
An usual and cosy restaurant which develops vertically in a number a thematic rooms until you reach a roof with a Trabant car.A menu with few local dishes, food of average quality and a young and friendly staff. The quality of the service is not one of the houseâs strengths and having rooms on multiple stores does not help.I am happy I have seen it and will unlikely return.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Good coffee and tea, confectioneries are tasty too. I am afraid I won't be able to come here for anything different than bakery because of prices. Just speaking of myself :)It was also hard to make a choice because there are lots of items on the menu. You spend time choosing the right one but after all it turns out that they're either out of it or it's of a seasonal selection. Maybe they need to come up with seasonal menus then? :)

Our first, warmest, most mundane and cozy #cukorlviv ! Once upon a time, we were told that the Cukor in the cold season reminds you of a warm blanket that covers you as soon as you cross the threshold of this cafe! It really feels like home!
The coffee with salted caramel is quite good. The three eggs and bacon all fit onto a bun that came with it, so must have been rather small eggs. The scrambled eggs were unsalted, unfortunately. Seems like a breakfast that should cost less than â¬6 in Lviv.

Cukor is different from the usual places of Lviv - it's not a coffee shop or a restaurant in the classical sense. In the Cukor there are people who are friends with each other and outside of the working hours, and the guests meet as the old friends - with
