The fact that the place is always busy kind of says it all, it is spotlessly clean and all staff are really friendly especially the lady that cleans the tables and Steve who works behind the counter, I have never had a bad snack from here thatâs why I keep going back, Iâve tried the breakfast, toasted sandwich, panini sand of course tried various cakes, which are all to die for!! Excellent service excellent food keep up the good work guys

Friendly & relaxed independent family owned bar/bistro located in the heart of Loughborough town centre. Dedicated to providing freshly prepared made meals to order. Serving delicious all-day breakfast 7 day a week, lunches daily and traditional Sunday ro
We both had an English breakfast , the sausage was like a cheap cocktail sausage, dreadful. The hash browns were that soggy they fall apart and tasted like cooking oil, the bacon was cheap and almost raw, and the hot chocolste tasted of fairy liquid. Certainly wouldnât recommend this to anyone . The only good thing from our visit was the polite service from the waitress.I am so sorry this was your experience at Blues Bistro. This is not the feedback we usually receive and both myself and the staff are very disappointed. We strive to make sure all our customers enjoy their food and their dining experience here at Blues.

Love coming here for lunch. It seems a while since we did and found everything as good as always. I ate a delicious egg & mushroom sandwich, hubby had a ham salad sandwich which is served with crisps, coleslaw and salad, both were very filling, great value. I love that the tea is served in a pretty tea-set, hubby always has coffee which he says is good. Service is very friendly. Just to note this is a cash only place.

Baxterâs Tearoom is a brand new, family-run business based on Baxter Gate in Loughborough. The traditionally English Tearoom has a menu dedicated to everything homemade and local wherever possible. There is a ground floor walk-in coffee shop, a Vintage Te
Two Afternoon Teas within a few weeks - Baxterâs Tearoom is well worth visiting if youâre in Loughborough. Weâve also eaten the regular sandwich choices and enjoyed them, but thereâs nothing quite like the quintessential English dainty crust less sandwiches with a variety of tasty fillings, delicate scones with jam & clotted cream and tempting mini cakes all served on a tiered cake stand and accompanied by lashings of hot tea...plus a glass of prosecco if you want an extra special treat. China cups make all the difference as do the individual teapots. There were mini savoury tarts for the first Afternoon Tea, but these were missing for the second one. Not there wasnât ample to eat; on both occasions we needed âdoggy bagsâ. Our dietary requirements were discussed when we ordered and booked, nothing is too much trouble. The vintage decor and friendly staff make this eatery our first choice when we visit the town. Highly recommended.Thank you so much Helen for your wonderful review, it is really appreciated. Although we are concerned we seem to have dropped a point along the way somewhere as we always aim to be 'practically perfect in every way'! Our Afternoon Tea Experience is extremely popular, we have created the gentle ambience of a bygone era and have put a lot of hard work into making our customer experience the best in town!We are alittle mystified by your reference in regards to mini savoury tarts as these have only ever been served with our special Mother's Day Afternoon Tea. This bespoke menu was created and priced accordingly, befitting such special occasion. Our regular Afternoon Tea is competitively priced and, as you say, plentiful. Customers can also choose our Gentleman's Afternoon Tea which includes locally produced pork pie, Stilton cheese, grapes and locally brewed beer.

The White Hart is a privately owned free house... it's a pub for pub lovers, we specialise in real ale and have been CAMRAs Pub of the Year for the last 2 consecutive years ! We search high & low to bring our customers the finest and rarest ales from arou
This is a pub pretending to be a restaurant but without the menu: the food was limited and for vegans the only option was chips, which I chose. I was later told I would have to have fries as they were out of chips (I realised afterwards I should have got a pound refund for this). The fries were OK but not great for £3. My friend had a cheese roll which for a fiver was small and unimpressive. The beer was OK but I would not go backHi!Sorry youâre experience with us wasnât what you expected, we really arenât trying to be a restaurant. Quite the opposite, our limited menu of sandwiches and bowls are intended to identify us as a pub where you can get something to eat, not as a formal restaurant. Our food boards are always balanced, most of our vegetarian options can be made vegan very easily, you just have to ask. Everything is fresh so occasionally we run out of stuff temporarily whilst we prepare more. (Our chunky chips are cut, blanched, dried & then fried twice, so it can be quite a lengthy process!) Seeing as you said you wonât come back, weâve donated the pound that we owe you to the Rainbows Childrenâs Hospice. We hope this is ok?

Hadnât been here for a couple of years, donât know why! Wanted somewhere to take visiting friends for a quiet lunch that was abit different, slightly worried that it was the school holidays and might be filled with little children. It wasnât and we had a delicious, leisurely lunch in the sun. The menu is interesting ,not just sandwiches and chips and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere on the terrace overlooking the water. Wonât leave it so long to return again!

Such a great vibe in this cafe created by the main man and his team! Lots of young staff but perfectly trained and 100% on it! Food is great value and cakes are excellent. Breakfast is £3.50 which was delicious. Coffee tends to the weaker side if like it strong but otherwise a great, friendly town centre cafe.
