Things to do in Long Eaton
Having heard about Two Guys Deli via Pelgraves FB feed we decided to give it a visit for breakfast. Unfortunately both chefs were away on holiday so we were told there was a very limited menu. They guy serving us tried his best to make it an ok experience but to be honest it would have been better if weâd have turned up and found it closed. The menu is pretty simple so it was a strange experience to be told half the menu was unavailable. We prefer to support small local businesses rather than big chains but our first visit here didnât inspire us to try them again. unfortunately

Had a really good breakfast here when my friend came up from London. It was nice to be able to know in advance you were going to have a good meal. Have eaten here lots of times and never been disappointed. It was always my youngest son's favourite place as they make great milkshake. Good prices, good food, good staff. Great value for money.

Set beside the Erewash canal with views over the River Trent and River Soar, theTea Room specialises in good old fashioned cooking. The house dates from 1794 and features many items relating to the canals and local life - almost a museum there is so much t
The Lock House tea rooms are delightful. They serve good home made food and the staff are friendly and helpful. Tables are laid with proper tablecloths and tea is served in china cups! The tea rooms are a mini museum of canal/boating memorabilia along with old toys, tools, wartime items etc. It is fascinating spotting things and stirring memories of a bygone era. We had a lovely lunch there and will definitely return.

Welcome to PipTree, serving coffee and homemade bakes & cakes in a stylish 50-seater cafe, located in the heart of Collyers Nurseries in the village of Borrowash.
Been here before and visited today Sunday 20th Oct 2019.Was very busy, managed to get last seat inside. Coffees and toast arrived quickly and was niceStill feel that breakfasts and toast is expensive compared with other places like No 58 on Long Eaton. Also amount of food on brekky is not as good also.Having said this it is very popular

We often meet up here for either a chat and look around or before going on a ride out. Great breakfast cobs and a good selection of cafe style food. Complemented with free tea or coffee. All served by Helen, lovely helpful and friendly lady. Worth a 45 minute ride just to have a bacon cob.

My partner and I visited last weekend for a tea cake and peace of banoffee pie. We waited 20 minutes for the teacake to arrive as the staff were too busy chatting. When I used the bathroom to wash my hands the floor flooded as the water leaked out of the pipe. When I told the member of staff he said â oh itâs always happening Iâll go and mop upâWe both had a sickness bug two days later and I subsequently have lost two days pay. This can only be from the pope hygiene we experienced there. We were very disappointedSorry to hear that you werenât happy with your visit last weekend. The allegations in your review are very damaging to our reputation and we take them very seriously. Our procedures and documentation relating to our hygiene and safety are regularly reviewed with the local authority and our high standards are recognised by our 5 star food hygiene rating. Based on your visit with us, Iâm unsure how both members of your party have been affected by your spurious allegations of âpoor hygieneâ when you ordered separate items which are prepared and handled in completely different ways. Also, based on advice from the NHS website, any food related bug would normally present itself within 12-24 hours after the initial contamination so your illness 2 days later is highly unlikely to have been caused by your visit to us. It is more likely that your illness has been caused at another location.

We are a small deli cafe and soon to be shop in the beautiful village of Stanton by Dale. We offer a breakfast menu up to 11.30 am. All food is freshly prepared while you wait. Most of the cakes and scones are baked by myself though we do stock some whole
What a hidden gemI met with friends who recommended this place, and I wasnât disappointed Itâs set in a beautiful, picturesque village and a former school houseThe owners had just taken over the business but you would never had thought that as the service was flawless and they were all very friendly I ordered a breakfast and coffee, which I would highly recommend and cooked to perfection As we had been there a while I decided to take a coffee to go with a slice of gin and tonic cake, (very indulgent ) for my afternoon treat which was so moist and credit to Debs who bakes all the lovely goodies thereI will definitely go back there again and I would like to wish Simon, Cheryl and Debs all the best in their new venture and I look forward to sampling some more treatsThank you Donna! Glad you enjoyed my Gin & Tonic cake and your visit to our little Deli Cafe! Look forward to welcoming you back soon !

Attended a meeting in Draycott and we took over the whole place at lunch. The place itself was very quirky and the staff very friendly and courteous. The food was very well presented, tasty and plenty of it!! Seconds if required. It was a very relaxed and comfortable experience and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
