We are a family run café located just outside Porthallow - our opening hours are on our website. We are dog friendly, open all year round and have outside seating for busy periods. We are a short walk to Porthallow Cove which is also dog friendly.
No trip to Porthallow is complete without a visit here. We had very good coffee and delicious pastries but could just have easily ordered a variety of very appealing lunch options.

Monday 17 June 19, In the late afternoon at Mullion Cove, we all went to the âPorthmellin Tea Roomâ, on the quay for afternoon refreshments. We were served by a lovely Cornish Lady, who owned the tea room, which was very pretty and done out in lovely seaside blue and white check. My husband had a pot of tea and I had a cup of coffee and we shared a lovely Cornish clotted cream tea, the scones were really fluffy, moist and warm and the strawberry jam was delicious. Dave had a latte coffee and Jill had a large hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. We spent a lovely hour here gazing out over the harbour and its pretty fishing boats. If you want a nice tearoom by the sea, then this is the place to visit at Mullion Cove.

Stayed in cadgwith for a week and found this store on a walk. Fantastic cob bread. Lovely coffee made by Gary. All you could want from a village store. All here are working hard to make this a success and we wish them well.I'm guessing this is our namesakes Gary and Claire?! I can only say it was a pleasure to meet you both - and thank you for such a great review. I hope we see you in Cornwall again soon. Claire
Just outside Lizard on the right on the way back from the Point. Rustic outside seating and nice inside. Coffee served in really nice, good quality crockery. Very reasonable. One of the best scones ever. Do not miss this one.

After reading the reviews on trip advisor, I was expecting great things from sues cream tea's but unfortunately the scones didn't match our expectations. In fairness the price was very reasonable, the host was friendly, and the portions were generous. However the scones were very heavy and didn't taste like they were made that day. Disappointed the jam wasn't homemade or of higher quality (like jelly and quite tasteless) but a very nice pot of tea. Would happily pay more better quality.

We often visit Lizard Point when we're on holiday in Cornwall but have never patonised this cafe before. We now know what we've been missing. There are glorious views from the plentiful outside seating and there is also inside seating. We only shared a cream tea on this visit with an extra pot of tea to fortify us for the coastal path walk to Kynance Cove but we're determined to sample the menu further on another occasion. The scones were delicious with plentiful Boddington's strawberry jam and clotted cream. The jam was so good we thought it was home-made. The tea was hot and strong and cutlery and crockery was spotless. Service was quick and the waiter was extremely pleasant. The loos appeared to have been newly refurbished and they were very clean and well stocked. Our whole experience of this cafe was a delight. Thank you so much.

At the end of the Lizard Peninsular
They offer a simple menu which has some local delights. We shared 3 starters and they were lovely. Whitebait, mackerel pate and a crab cake, all served with salad and breads. Amazing sea views with lots of birds about. I saw Ravens, choughs and various other saebirds. Will be going again tomorrow! Lovely staff and very helpful.
