I had a piece of cake here the other day. It was very dry and didn't have much flavor. The ice cream that came with it didn't even help much. (They also need more ice cream flavors than just vanilla.) The staff was also particularly curt. Don't waste your time (or money) here.

Small deli making and selling everything in shop. Fresh bread, sandwiches, salads and pastries (pastel de nata and sausage rolls ), with locally roasted coffee to boot.
We dropped into Hugo's deli on the way back from the Cliffs of Moher. We just wanted a light lunch on the way to Gallway. Well it was FANTASTIC. Not a huge choice but it proves once again that as long as you do the small things well less is more. The bread was amazing & the Portuguese tarts were the best I've had. Combined with really relaxed friendly service makes Hugo's a winner. DO NOT MISS IT.

On the first floor of the visitor centre you will find a restaurant like no other. At the Cliffs View Café enjoy panoramic views over the Cliffs of Moher and Liscannor Bay looking out of the side of the hill while enjoying a taste of County ClareAt the Cl
For unknown reason, it took me quite some time to find this place to write my review. I didn't find it from the auto display from tripadvisor after writing my review on Cliffs of Moher. It should be right there as the first place under restaurant list. If it is not because I kept the receipt, I won't be able to locate and write this review. Located just next to the famous place. Always busy and everyone is in a hurry to finish to go back to their bus for leaving. I would suggest that they should place some shelfs for people to place their dishes and tray when done. The helpers didn't be fast enough to do their job. Prepare some time to line up for washroom - always long line. However, despite of the busy situation, they still offered decent food. Much better than other cafes in some famous spots worldwide.

New Artistan cafe in Lahinch serving fresh local produce alongside roasted brown specialty coffee, specializing in breakfast, lunch and freshly baked treats.
This time I brought the terrors 6.5 and 2.5 they just adored Dodi's pancakes. Quote from Miss 6.5 "best pancakes ever"....long pause..."eh besides your mom". They were to die for so I've told her it's okay the pancakes deserve her review (and she's picky!). Dodi put all the extras on the side for the kids so they could taste and pick and choose.the breakfast bagel was so good with local bacon that you just cant get in NZ and the staff are always fabulous. Can never recommend enough, if in Lahinch it's definitely worth a stop.
