My husband and I loved this restaurant. We have made two visits: once months ago just for cookies, and recently for lunch and cookies. Yesterday I had the Waldo Cobb Salad. My husband had the Mediterranean Chopped Salad. Both were served with an excellent whole grain bread. Our relative had a Pesto Margarita Flatbread. Everything tasted really good. I especially liked the flatbread, which had a slightly sweet sauce. We split some delicious fresh cookies: snickerdoodle and chocolate chip. The cookies were excellent bakery quality cookies. The restaurant is large and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating.The only feature I donât like about the restaurant is that they donât offer fountain drinks. In addition to various coffees, lattes and iced tea, the restaurant offers a selection of bottled and canned beverages. The menu on listed on the McLain website is not as extensive as the one posted on the wall of the Overland Park store. There are 3 branches in the Kansas City area.

Very nice staff.Napkin dirty and stained, silverware inside had not been cleaned. They took a napkin away, left silverware. Chicken and waffles is really chicken nuggets(cheap) and waffle. Bacon microwaved brand.Second visit, probably not a third.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and each grabbed a panini and shared a large bowl (just under $30 for the both of us). Both were very good. I had never been to a vitality bowl so I wasnât sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed both. The bowls are not cheap, and they do have a quite a bit of sugar, but my wife and I agreed it was as good as ice cream with at least some redeeming virtues.

Whole Foods Market offers so many options for take-out. I have purchased often for solo, and it has been a go-to place when I am in a time crunch for group gatherings. I purchased ready to eat shrimp and desserts here for a Super Bowl Party I attended.The only reason I don't give it five stars is it can be a bit pricey.
