Bavarian style pretzels, spinach dip, chicken tenders and wings, soups, salads, burgers, top-of-the-line steaks and other delicious entrees. Specials everyday of the week including half-off our Classic Burger on Tuesdays! Enjoy a brew and nachos with frie
The restaurant and bar, probably the whole Oread Hotel is very nicely designed. The walls are decorated with a sort of a stone, so if you visit the place in winter it feels really cold if there is no fireplace. The night we came to the restaurant/bar they were full and the manager Sergio arranged a room for us which we appreciated but without any heating? A bit chillyThe service was slow, we waited a long time for our food, much too long. We were six, and our reviews about the food were mixed. The steaks were good, you pay for sides. The Osso Bucco was excellent, the Fettucini was not tasty at all. We shared desserts, the Tiramisu was good. Mr Sergio did his best to make us happy, but for the money we paid, it was not really enough. I can summarize our experience by saying that the manager was excellent but not so the waitress and the long time it took to get our food.Dear Betina,Thank you, we appreciate your comments as we are always working on ways to improve - service, food & beyond. Our beautiful limestone building does get pretty chilly in the winter - sadly our fireplaces are only located in rooms we have private events. Sergio is an excellent manager but we apologize as we know it is all aspects that lead to a wonderful evening. We do hope you will come back and see us again for a new and better experience.

With an extensive menu and incredible flexibility in altering ingredients, I can't imagine anyone not being happy with this cozy cafe. The waiters are friendly and sincere, the portions are Huge, and the coffee - well it's smooth but hearty and perfect. I personally love the Scramble which I had without the caramelized onions but extra mushrooms. Also love rye toast which they didn't drown in butter ( although I'm sure they would have provided more). I've eaten in Lawrence as a visitor for 15 years and this is by far my favorite restaurant.

Had a great breakfast at Miltonâs: French toast with bacon and eggs and a turtle mocha. The mocha needed a little sugar for my taste, but that was easily solved. It appears that Miltonâs stays busy. We arrived around 7:30 on a Saturday morning and it was filling up by 8. Indoor seating is limited.

Great little place, just north of the Kaw River. Order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table. There are vegetarian options and if youâre counting carbs, you can substitute fresh fruit for the toast.

Voted Best Breakfast and Brunch by the Lawrence World Journal, First Watch specializes in delicious creations freshly-prepared to order. Their fresh, award-winning Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch dishes are made using only the best ingredients without the use
We came in the morning, we ordered an elevated egg sandwich which was very satisfactory as well as a sunrise granola bowl, very good too and oatmeals bowl which unfortunately was a little sweetened although I specifically asked it not to be sweetened for medical reasons. The kind waiter took it back and I was not charged for it. I like this breakfast place in general.

My wife and I have eaten here a few times with no problems. Our last visit was with two other couples for breakfast and we were sorely disappointed. Our guests had biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were dry, and the gravy was cold and had no sausage. Our guests chose not to order anything else. Manager was courteous and did not charge either guest for their poor quality food.

First time at restaurant and didn't know the procedure and had to wait for waitress to come over. It's get your own coffee but after that the server will take your order and bring your food. Server was "accommodating". Bk was good but potatoes could have been cooked more. Sausage had a good flavor.
