We stumbled upon Keke's while looking for a spot for breakfast. Upon entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted by the hostess. The menu is very diverse with a number of items you will not likely find on a typical breakfast menu. I had the pleasure of devouring a pecan and banana waffle with whipped cream that was perfect. The service was timely and attentive without being obtrusive. The staff could not have been more pleasant. We had the benefit of another sincere thank you from the very personable hostess.

Best Breakfast / Brunch on Clearwater Beach. Undisputed for 3 decades. Yes 3 decades +. What makes it #1 is the Staff .Mrs. Vicki, miss Dee, Noell, Tracy....even bus and dishwash Forest. All employees here for a long time. Service is paramount. Never a bad food experience, bottomless coffee. I have been coming here for as long as its been open. Our once hip n groovy beachtown that few knew of has now been bulldozed and fancy 300+ a night luxury hotels replaced all 50s Mom & Pop motels. Yet the Beach Shanty Cafe remains pretty much as its always been. Trip Advisors #1 Beach... but you notta fool me. Trip Advisor owned by Expedia. They like commissions on all hotel bookings here. So please.... do not say my review here is bias and not qualify. Is honest review. Track...here now. KC

My husband and I ate here on our last morning unfortunately, because we would have been back for more! The service was super and the food was spot on. I mean everything... you will not leave hungry- and will probably clean your plate if even possible! We purchased a broken egg coffee mug- well actually two of them- not knowing how pricey they were!!! But great place! Thanks for giving us a try and leaving the great review. We're delighted your breakfast with us was excellent and that the food made such a great impression. We can't wait to see you again next time you're in town!

The food here is wonderful. The owner/chef really takes pride in his work, and takes very good care of his customers. The pastries are FABULOUS!! The breakfast portions are very generous AND delicious! It's rare to find this quality. The servers are very caring and make you feel at home! YES!!!

Voted best breakfast and lunch in Tampa Bay area. Diner style food. Southern charm. Try a Maggie Burger - best in area for lunch.
On the commendation of one of my wifeâs friends, we finally tried this restaurant for breakfast. From the sidewalk it doesnât look like much, but it has a great outdoor seating area on the water. The only thing I didnât like were the hash browns. Yuk!But, donât let that discourage you. Very casual but quite good.

A few of us went for breakfast and were looking for somewhere we could get a nutritious breakfast. We were not disappointed. The Senior menu was perfect as it the right quantity and included coffee. We had crepes and french toast. Excellent choices, and the waitress kindly substituted the hah browns for a bowl of fruit. I did find the English Whipped Cream too sweet, but I guess whipped cream is generally very sweet.

Undistinguished cinder block building housing very distinguished breakfast menu. Try the 7 oz. Angus steak and 3 eggs for $4.79. Then try the fantastic pork chops and eggs. This is definitely a locals joint, but it welcoms newcomers.
Its true, neither the atmosphere nor the food is fancy. But in the middle of Clearwater Beach's frenetic resort environment of expensive fired grouper, t-shirt shops, and parking challenges, there is a quaint little breakfast place you will enjoy. It is charming, very friendly, inexpensive and the food is excellent.I recommend you take a deep breath and have a great meal

We popped in here to get out of the rain. Weâd previously been for breakfast, but this was lunch. I loved my crepe brûlée french toast and my partner enjoyed his philly cheese sandwich. Good service and good food, although the other Maggie Maes is still our favourite. Little less atmosphere at this one, but still good.

A delightful neighborhood cafe serving breakfast, lunch and Sunday brunch in a casual, yet upscale atmosphere. Dine inside or outside on our dog-friendly deck.
We came to Florida for our 20th anniversary trip and visited here twice. We will definitely be back. This cafe was cozy, perfect, and everything was absolutely delicious! Everyone we came in contact here, and at the bakery next door, were extremely friendly. We highly recommend!
