Reviews on Cafe food in Kutaisi, Imereti Region, Georgia. Kutaisi (Georgian: ქუთაისი [kʰutʰɑisi]; ancient names: Aea/Aia, Kotais, Kutatisi, Kutaïsi) is the legislative capital of Georgia, and its 3rd most populous city. Situated 221 kilometres (137 miles) west of Tbilisi, on the Rioni River, it is the capital of the western region of Imereti. Historically one of the major cities of Georgia, it served as the capital of the Kingdom of Georgia in the Middle Ages, and later as the capital of the Kingdom of Imereti. The Parliament of Georgia moved to Kutaisi in 2012, in an effort to both acknowledge the status of the city, and to decentralise the Georgian government.

Fabulous lobiani and delicious glass of a dry Georgian wine. Slightly more expensive then the Fou-Fou cafe down the street for the same glass of wine though Our Cafe also has a lovely ambience and decor. Also incredibly strong WiFi that allowed me to upload photos easily. Staff member speaks English and translated some menu items. Menu also in English.
Sadly I have to give this place a bad review for their inability to resolve a simple problem. My Georgian girlfriend ordered a Caesar salad, which should not contain processed pork meat (Check any recipe). She did not want this meat and asked for the meal to be removed and the correct salad to replace it. The waiter had zero people skills and couldn't care less. It would have cost the restaurant a small amount to replace this salad with another. But stubborn , bad attitude prevailed. I will never go there again as their concern is taking the customers money without attention to customer satisfaction. My worst experience in my many trips to Kutaisi and if they cannot be polite to a Georgian girl, what hope have tourists got!!!
Cozy cafe in the very center of the city. We have all kind of Georgian and European kitchen, lots of drinks and COLORFUL khinkali ^^ P.S. Extra friendly staff

This is a great garden café with great views from the terrace. It is very relaxing and also welcome after the climb up the hill from the river or the disappointing visit to Bagrati Cathedral. There is not just the outside area. There is a nice interior air-conditioned restaurant. The staff were friendly. The knew what we would order on the second time that we went back. We just had a coffee, which was very nice, however they do food and locals came to eat.

Turned up and decided to eat outside as it was smoky indoors. The menus were in English and the waitress spoke great English as well. The food was good and plentiful and the wine was of a high calibre as well. Great wee spot for some lunch.

Wondering around the centre I came across this cozy looking restaurant. The friendly waiter invited me in, I looked at the limited menu and decided to give it a go. About 6 tables, all empty, and no one else came in for the next hour I was there. The waiter was very professional and helpful. Limited main courses for lunch so I ordered the stew (12 lara) and pot of mushrooms (8) bread (2.50) beer (3). Food arrived piping hot in about 15min and the mushrooms went well with the stew. Big mistake in ordering the stew because obviously it was not freshly made. I had not eating anything all morning except cup of coffee and toast. Returning back to hotel I felt upset stomach, laid on the bed fell asleep and woke up to be sick and in pain. Was there something bad in the stew, certainly not the mushrooms. Next time order something that has to be prepared that day.Restaurant was very cozy and maybe at night time is packed. Total cost 25.50 lara, good value for money. I should have stuck to my policy of eating at places that has lots of locals.Hello! We sorry about you for such awkward situation. We can guarantee that the dish was fresh made on the day as usually any other dishes, but in Georgian dishes and in particular Megrelian stew is made with many walnuts and Georgian spices. Sometimes a similar combination is hard to work for some organism.

I went here today for lunch and was delighted at the shrimp salad I got (with the alterations I wanted like no cucumber or rice) and the enormous Georgian cheese plate. I mean seriously itâs enormous, I took half home with me. Both items were fresh and very well-priced. £3.89 for a shrimp salad?! Unheard of in the UK! Also got a cold mango and coconut ice tea (no sugar) and that was also lovely. Just wish the bearded man would have smiled a bit more. Menu in English as well. Great WiFi and cool interior.
Welcome, aura bar-restaurant, we invite you in the family environment, with the best Georgian and European cuisine, with varied Georgian wines. Also with the best cocktails and hookah.
We had a lovely time here! We were desperate to have hinkali and after unsuccessful tries we found Aura. Vakho made our visit very special, we were recommended a delicious schmeruli dish which Georgians enjoyed for hundreds of years. Of course hinkali was beautiful, i had 6, but could probably eat a whole tray! Really loved the traditional salad with walnuts, cucumbers and tomatoes, even repeated the order. Also weâve got a special treat, homemade wine by Vakho! Such a joyful evening! Thank you Vakho and Aura team!

Was really surprised by kindness and great/amazing food here! We usually eat each time somewhere else, but that failed with Fleur. We were there many times (from breakfasts, lunch, to dinners) as we wanted to try more of their food. All was amazing, but I want to suggest especially under:- Shakshuka for breakfast (baked eggs with tomato sauce in pan)- Ajapuri Katchapuri (great everywhere, also here)- Kharcho (chicked breasts in tomato sauce)- Grilled Trout- Beans in a pot- Their bread (also corn bread)- brownie with ice cream- turkish coffeeYou really will not be dissapointed by Cafe Fleur! Also not with a bill.
