Reviews on Cafe food in Kalkan, Antalya Province, Turkey. Kalkan, like its neighbor Kas, is a lovely Turkish beach town. While most travelers spend their time enjoying the sun and sea, history buffs will appreciate Kalkan’s proximity to several ancient Lycian cities. If you’ll be in town for more than a day, consider renting a villa—you’ll love the chance to live like a local in such a beautiful spot.

We enjoyed a relaxing meal here with amazing views across the beach and harbour entrance. The food was freshly prepared and tasty, and the menu prices werenât as expensive as weâd expected given the location, but it wasnât 5-star dining either. At the time we were dining, we were the only group eating dinner - the cafe appeared to be more popular as a spot to enjoy sundowners. Weâd probably return for sundowners and the view.

We found this beautiful bar on the first day and returned many times through the holiday. Cocktails are superb, and we certainly tried to work our way through the menu!!! There is comfy chairs and canopies, and you can sit towards the back which backs onto the harbour, or nearer the front to people watch. The host ( I think Gino) was so friendly and kind, and always made time to come over and chat to us. He makes the place so welcoming.

The Papatya Café is located at the LaVanta site above Kalkan and serves good home cooked fresh food, in a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. The café is open from 08:30 providing breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, as well as coffee, soft drinks, beer, wine a
We stayed at LaVanta and spent most of our time around the club house pool and at the Papatya Cafe. The drinks are lovely, we especially loved a chilled glass of local rose, watching the sea view at sunset. The food is freshly prepared, clean-tasting and delicious, especially the fresh fruit salad with honey, home-made fish cakes and the halloumi salad. The children loved the milkshakes, and chats with the bar tender. Debbie and Erhan made us feel so welcome, we really enjoyed their company, lovely people and a great sense of humour. Overall a very special place. Thank you! Café Leon is a stylish café/bar in the heart of Kalkan Old town, in a lovely shady setting. Run by a Turkish/English family, we serve great food in a relaxed atmosphere, at reasonable prices - and we're open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. All of our food
After a little too much white wine the night before, my body was craving a cooked breakfast. Weâve been to Cafe Leon many times, but never for breakfast. The Full Monty is massive & really good quality too. Best English Breakfast iâve had in Kalkan for sure.

Having read earlier reviews, we thought we'd give this place a try and pleased that we did. Good quality coffee with a touch of alcohol and excellent baklava. Lovely way to end the evening and we returned quite often. Also great spot on the comfy front chairs for a bit of people watching.
