Die Tagessuppen sind absolut zu empfehlen.Dazu kostenloses W-Lan und mindestens 2 Tageszeitungen ( regional und überregional ) . Familienfreundlich. Eine schöne kleine Mensa in Jenas Innenstadt. Kreative, abwechslungsreiche Küche, die wirklich klasse schmeckt und auch optisch ein Hingucker ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leider genügen die vorhandenen Tische nicht immer für die vielen Gäste, es kann also schon mal eng und kuschelig am Tisch werden .

Sehr gutes Frühstück: leckere Brötchen, Aufschnitt, frisches Obst, genug um satt zu werden. Von den 100 Bieren abgeschaut: Auch die nicht-alkoholische Getränkekarte geht über die Norm hinaus - Limonaden von Wostok, zB "Estragon-Ingwer" warten nur darauf von der Neugier besiegt zu werden.Sehr freundliches Personal. Musik der 20/30er lief bei unserem Besuch, nicht aufdringlich und passend zur Location.Tolles Ambiente - wenn einem die Gesprächsthemen ausgehen, kann man immer wieder etwas neues entdecken: Der Korb als Deckendeko, die Pfauenvase, das Grammophon..Ab November gibt es auch wechselnde Tagesgerichte - wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommne. :)Vielen Dank für das Lob! Ein sehr schönes, kleines und abgelegenes Café.Die Bedienung war höflich und das Bestellte kam recht zügig.Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Preise moderat und für die Qualität angemessen.Wenn man nach einem Stadtbummel etwas abschalten möchte ist man hier genau richtig.

Very relaxed evening catching up with some friends in this lovely cozy bar. Music wasn't too loud and it was very easy to maintain normal conversation. Only complaint was that smoking is allowed indoors. Other than that, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

It is quite hard to find a place in Germany where you can get a freshly baked, flakey, buttery and delicious warm Croissant. (Normally they a frozen, warmed up and dry)At this place you will find original french baking and pastry products like in Paris. Croissants, Brioche, Tartelettes, Flute, Pain au Chocolat, you name it, they have it all.It does not happen often that I give five points but this place really derserves it!

we spent a couple of hours there, talking and enjoying excellent coffee (not easy to get in this reagion) and a most memorable cake.A friendly waiter, nice ambiente, all you need is a little bit of time.

Brandmarken is half cafe, half shoe shop. I haven't bought shoes there, but the cafe has become one of my favorite places in town.The main seating in the cafe is shabby-chic and feels like you're in someone's home. There's even a guitar hanging on the wall if someone feels like playing. (As a matter of fact, there are occasionally free or inexpensive concerts there.) Large picture windows overlook Schlossgasse, so it's easy to people-watch and wave at friends.Inside, there is a very wide variety of drinks - anyone can find something they'd enjoy at almost any price point, from plain old coffee to beers from small breweries to Proviant smoothies. In addition, there are small snacks and cakes from Koriat in Weimar.In the year or so that it's been open, it's become one of my favorite places in town to meet friends.
