Wow! Low Gap Cafe came highly recommended and certainly did not disappoint!! Outstanding food beautifully presented in a clean, funky environment. Cannot imagine a better food experience. My shrimp carbonara had tasty medium fresh Gulf shrimp in a thick, creamy wine sauce with sautéed mushrooms and onions. Simply delicious!! My wife had the snapper which was also fantastic! The spinach artichoke dip appetizer was the VERY BEST I have tasted. Cannot wait for my next visit to Newton County so I can once again wrap myself in the Low Gap experience. WOW!!

Sweet breakfast favorites heavy on omelets and pancakes, a bevy of burgers, catfish and more at the oldest restaurant in Newton County.
Had their Sunday buffet for brunch. Good selection of food to choose from, both hot and cold. The fried chicken is the draw. Lightly seasoned and crispy. Moist breasts and wings. Rib tips were good too.Enough food for all of us.Apple and blackberry cobbler to finish us up. Well worth the time to go there.Thank you we are proud of our buffet plese come back and join us again

My wife and I ate breakfast here and it was fantastic. I had an omelet and they use fresh ingredients and you can tell!! The mushrooms and tomatoes were definitely fresh and no fake cheese here. Best part was the manager who was chatting with us about anything and everything. Very friendly!!Thank you!! We appreciate you!!

Friendly service. The catfish and fries for lunch were good and reasonably priced. Slaw was ok. Would pass on the coconut cream pie; was ok but not great. If back in Jasper would stop here again for the catfish.
