Things to do in Indialantic
There's one of these in Cocoa too! We had iced coffee and iced tea, with a liquid sweetener, both delicious and served by a charming young woman. The exceptional part was that rather than plastic lids, our ups were sealed with a plastic topping that you push your biodegradable straw through - the first time I've ever seen this. Yes, it's plastic - but at least it's not another whole polluting chunk of it!

This is the kind of place travelers love to find, a local favorite that's inexpensive and serves good food. The menu offers plenty of sides and add-ons, so you create your own biscuit masterpiece, or even biscuit alternatives (bagels, I think). In my case, it was a fried chicken biscuit with gravy. Staff, assuming the owners, are very friendly. There's room inside for about a dozen diners, more seating outside. I'd be happy to come here again.

We had breakfast this morning at this breakfast and lunch cafe. They have a great breakfast menu with a lot of great specials. Many of the menu items are "upscale" like special benedicts. The prices are reasonable and portions fairly generous. The food is excellent. The service was very prompt and attentive. There are some outside tables under a canopy with fans. We ate outside and it was a bit hot.

The 905 Cafe- Downtown Melbourne- 4 starsSecreted away in a small niche amongst a gaggle of shops, boutiques, art galleries, and eating establishments awaits a true culinary gem for your enjoyment. I am speaking, of course, about the 905 Cafe in the Historic Arts district of the sprawling metropolis that is downtown Melbourne, FL. The first thing that struck me as I entered and approached the counter for service was the fact that 905 has somehow kept the same ambiance for over 20 years. Not sure how they do it, but if they could bottle it and sell it, they could make a fortune. After placing my order for an Egg Salad sandwich on marbled rye and a Chicken Salad on fresh greens with the pleasant, attentive, on-the-ball counter staff, I noticed patrons comfortably seated upon antique chairs dining with utter enjoyment on the fare offered and I couldn't help but think that if Paris Hilton or her ilk (tall, skinny blondes with purse poochies) were living in Melbourne, FL. this is where they would dine. This is the kind of place that people in Hollywood go to see and be seen. The ambiance is sophisticated enough to draw their crowd, yet homey enough for the average tourist from Nebraska. Again, if they could bottle this...Anyway, I digress, back to the task at hand. My order was plated artfully and placed on a tray with a smile awaiting my pick up. I enthusiastically grabbed it off the counter and tried to casually walk to the nearest table as my eyes devoured the feast in front of me and my olfactory senses became overwhelmed with the scent of freshly baked bread wafting up from my tray. The marbled rye was still warm from the oven and had that springiness of freshly baked bread while the crust was a perfect mix of firmness and chewiness that is a must in a good bread. The taste of the bread alone was exquisite, add to that the made to order egg salad and I was in the sandwich equivalent of Valhalla (Skol!). After making the delicious egg salad disappear in a matter of moments, I moved on to the Chicken Salad Salad. As with the Egg Salad, their Chicken Salad is made to order, none of that half hour old stuff out of a bucket for these guys. It was perfectly made to the right degree of creaminess and sat majestically atop a bed of freshly selected baby Spring greens all topped with hand cut fresh strawberries and real, honest to YiaYia, goat's milk Feta. The Big Boy says, "whether you are a high-society, stilettos in the sand wearing, purse puppy toting fashionista or a surfer from Beachside in baggies, a T-shirt and flops looking for a sophisticated dining experience with delicious, made to order, better than down-home cooking, head on over to the 905 Cafe. You do, however, have to leave Princess Buttercup at home. Health codes and all...

Really good food in this little bitty restaurant. The noise level inside made conversation a bit hard to hear. But, there was a full table for 6 celebrating something off to our left, and influencing the noise level. Definitely crowded at lunch on a Saturday. The outside seating would be nice, although that day, probably too hot.

I didnât know this hidden gem was within walking distance of my work, but now that I do, Iâll certainly be back. I came here for breakfast with three of my coworkers and we each ordered different items and all enjoyed what we had. I ordered an açaà bowl and it was beautiful and tasty! My coworkers ordered a cappuccino, smoothie, bowl, and yogurt parfait and all said they would come back for more. I am so glad a place like this is nearby and how perfect that itâs next door to the beach! The staff were friendly, the decor was spot on, and the food was great. Give it a try!

We visited the Sunnyside Cafe for an early lunch today. The hamburgers were fantastic, especially for the price. The fresh fruit cup was a little costly for the small cup it was served in. The servers were nice. The restaurant is very popular and therefore a bit noisy. There were some outside tables, but it was too hot to sit outside. I would go back.

The blueberry muffins at the Blueberry Muffin Restaurant are excellent. The blueberry pie is pretty awesome, too! The sandwiches are also praise worthy. My husband had the tuna sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Mediterranean Chicken Pita and found it to be fresh and flavorful. I look forward to a return visit to sample the breakfast offerings.
