The city is the southernmost city in California and the West Coast of the United States. It is in the South Bay area of San Diego County, 14.1 miles (22.7 km) south of downtown San Diego and 5 miles (8.0 km) northwest of downtown Tijuana, Mexico.

This is a great place to have a relaxing breakfast while sitting outside staring at the water. The menu was varied and the staff extremely friendly.

Checked back in here-- coffee and service still great! Clean, excellent seating and plenty of it. Not so many pastries as before, but still nice. Very good barristas.

We were trying this place for brunch one Saturday after a bike ride which left us hungry and thirsty. We ordered coffee and each tried a different item from their menu. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which has everything in it that I wanted: beans, eggs, chorizo (soy), slices of avocado, and potatoes. I didn't put any hot sauce on it because it was so tasty on its own! My partner ordered the breakfast bowl, and was thoroughly satisfied with that, as well. My mocha was served pretty immediately, while my partner received a nice, large ceramic cup which he filled with any of their selection of coffees. There is a small refrigerator next to the coffees where the creamer is kept cold. There are also cold drinks kept in there, like orange juice. This is a casual, friendly establishment whose food exhibits great care in preparation, especially for the price! For the two of us, it came to just under $18. This means we'll need to return to use our other Groupons, but since it's such a great place and we now know how to find it, we're looking forward to more bike rides which will bring us here.

Cute little local place. Met the actual "Deb" and maybe her Dad? She's sweet, he's the classic, good-natured, curmudgeon,making bad jokes guy. And the cookies are fresh without the super sweet Mrs. Fields lurking about anywhere! Great variety. If she runs out, just ask what she can make for you, come back in 45". The cookies will be fresh and still warm, just like you'd make at home (but you don't cuz it takes too much effort)! Make sure you get a cookie card to get your free cookie after 9 purchases.

My husband and I tried Red House Kitchen today - delicious! The food tastes authentic, fresh, carefully thought out and made with good ingredients. Of course real eggs in the breakfast sandwiches, homemade dressing and sauces (including cilantro lime dressing and an excellent harissa aioli), all in a fun, relaxing environment. Floor to ceiling chalkboards with ample chalk for the kids, games, and laughter. The couple behind me was playing chess, the family next to me- Connect Four. I had the Farmhouse breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage and my husband had the RHKajun chicken sandwich with avocado, bacon and cheese with the same harissa aioli. Iâm torn if Iâll stick with breakfast next time or venture into burgers. They are half a pound and a little intimidating - but look phenomenal! They have sodas and wine and a nice selection of sweets to satisfy just about anyone. Weâll be back!

Lovely space place to grab some coffees and small bfast sandwiches. Mexican mocha was really good and very nice little place to wake up early and get coffee before walk on the beaches
