I visited Carters Lounge for lunch with a friend. I had an Oreo milkshake which was very nice & my friend ordered an all day breakfast which was served in a frying pan which I thought was a bit different. I had baked potato with cheese & beans which came with plenty of cheese & salad. Would return to this venue & would recommend. Good food & good service.

Stayed in well known hotel just out of town and ate nxt door one morning very disappointing so thought lets see if the corner cafe is as good as it used to be. We were not disappointed really enjoyed it for nxt 2 days before returning to cornwall. Nice hot food, very good price and friendly staff. Thankyou.

If you have mobility issues then this is not the place for you as both entrances have steps although one has a handrail. This small clean cafe serves basic food. The breakfast in particular is hot and freshly cooked, bacon sandwiches are good too. The coffee and teas are fine and the service is pleasant. Nothing fancy.

Ive been to piggys a few times now and first impression is that ive gone back in time to the 70s! Its very dated and lacks that 'i cant wait to go back feeling'. Having said that the staff are very friendly and it does look very clean. Excellent choice on the menu and the foid in general isnt bad though the sausages can be a little tough on your teeth! Having said this i wouldn't hesitate on going back.

A few ladies and I came here for my cousin's hen party, it was lovely and intimate. Leanne the owner could not do enough for us, and tried her best to cater to our needs which she did very successfully. I'd definitely come here again.

Three of us met for lunch here today. We would definitely choose The Art Cafe again if visiting Hinckley. Friendly welcoming staff , clean , comfortable , interesting surroundings with a variety of art work on the walls . And best of all , lovely food and coffee .I wish we had a cafe like this in our home town . The only down side would be the temptation to visit every day !

I have just visited and was very disappointed to see a V on the board next to items containing tuna. I did mention this to the staff but they looked at me like I was mad. If they donât know that fish are from the animal kingdom and therefore unsuitable for vegetarians, how can I as a vegan be sure that the items marked vegan really are? I certainly wonât be visiting again.Firstly I was surprised after you spoke to a senior team member, and several email correspondences between ourselves, that you still felt the need to write such a negative & frankly damaging review.I must clarify you werenât served any animal products at any point.The reference you refer to is - Tuna panini & Tuna deli - both marked on our boards with a âVâ, which was an oversight and should have been marked as âPescatarianâ, but in the 5+ years it has been on the board, no one has struggled to understand that Tuna is actually a Fish.As per the email to yourself , we assured you we had addressed and rectified the oversight and updated the board.You have focused 100% on an oversight, and failed to mention that over 40% of our menu is vegetarian or vegetarian adaptable; there are 5 vegan options on the menu, 5 of our 8 weekly specials are vegetarian, 2 being vegan. All our cakes are vegetarian, again with 2 vegan options - all correctly labelled (as per Food Safety Guidelines).We therefore consider ourselves very Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.It should also be noted the day you visited was one of the hottest days in British history, where our staff were working in extremely challenging conditions, and they did so with a smile, so all of our customers, including yourself, were able to buy refreshments and take solace from the unbearable heat. We all work extremely hard and deliver, whatever the conditions, so maybe a little thought, consideration and empathy should be applied before you try to damage a local, independent business.

What a hidden gem , fantastic after tea. Staff are super nice, genuinely friendly and helpful. The afternoon tea was delicious, beautiful display of sandwiches and cakes, all made on the premises. The décor and atmosphere was lovely too. This is how eating out should be! Great food, lovely atmosphere, great hospitality with a personal experience. We were made to feel really special. About as far removed from the identikit chains as you can imagine. A really straightforward product done well and with care and attention.
