Requiring a light Sunday lunch after a visit to the nearby Frogmore Psper Mill Museum our party of 8 were recommended to try this Sainsbury's cafe, and were not disappointed. The meals were well presented and tasty, and were served promptly. The cafe is about a mile from the museum, with a large car park, which was busy on a Sunday lunchtime; overall a pleasant and enjoyable budget dining experience.
Many years ago there was a garage in Fletcher Way. That closed and for a long time the premises were empty. Now the car sales showroom is a bathroom showroom and one corner is a cafe. I've often walked past and seen a surprising number of people in there - it's next to a school and I guess some of the mum's go in for a chat and a coffee once they've offloaded the kids. So I decided to take the plunge, I left it until after the school run though....First impressions - it's a bit sparse. The outside seating is what used to be a garage forecourt so won't win any prizes for the view (you can see Bellgate shops across the road) but if you're a smoker you just have to put up with that. inside, formica topped tables, hard seating, but all very clean. Suzuki logos on the doors.....There are newspapers (Sun Mirror etc) and magazines available if you want to read and quiet background music. The available fare is listed on a huge blackboard above the counter and covers an interesting range from espresso - anyone heard of Kimbo Coffee? I hadn't - through fry up breakfasts omelettes and sandwiches to a couple of specials as lunch dishes plus a range of what look to be home made cakes.Order at the counter find a seat and it's brought to you. The coffee is made using a proper espresso machine and is not bad. As I say I've never heard of Kimbo coffee, but what do I know? In two visits I've sampled a lemon drizzle cake and a chocolate coated flapjack, both perfectly fine. It's obvious watching what goes on that they've built a regular clientele which includes builders, travelling salesmen, a couple of district nurses plus the mums on the school run and I suppose this mix explains the slightly odd mix of cafe and Caff.I wouldn't pick this as a place to out to but it's a cut above the other local cafes if you're a builder looking for a change
We had breakfast at M & S most of the days during our visit to the UK. The restaurant is clean, the service is very good, and so is the selection of food. We will definitely have meals here again. It was actually the best restaurant for breakfast. It was located close to the hotel we stayed at - the Premier Inn

If you're looking for a trendy pub, this is not the place for you. The décor is tired and needs updating. If you're looking for good food, this is the place to go. This pub sells the usual range of pub food, but its speciality is Thai food, which is very tasty and reasonably priced. You may have to wait for the food to be cooked, but they offer an excellent service whereby you tell them the time you are arriving and the food will be ready for you at that time. Great, for those with a short lunch break.

Before I start, I thought Marlowe's had an E? Took me ages to find this café on Trip Advisor, maybe that's why so few reviews?Anyway, I had a fantastic breakfast here this morning Very friendly staff, fast service, hot food and I couldn't fault the cleanliness, décor, portion size or price. All finished off with complimentary Turkish Delight! It was not my first visit and will not be my last. I have not tried their lunches yet but look forward to doing so. A great, convenient find for pre, after or mid shopping.

We keep giving this place a go as it was so nice when it first opened but every breakfast visit over the last few years has been very disappointing. This last one was the worst and they got everything wrong, so we won't be returning or recommending it to anyone. The thin, cheap bread was burnt dark brown with black edges, the eggs both had hard yolks and were brown and crispy underneath and round the edges, we honestly couldn't cut the bacon as it was so hard, dry and overdone and what little we managed to put in our mouths tasted of charcoal - yuk! Only 3 cherry tomatoes which were also overdone and the sausage wasn't only dry and overcooked but tasted as if it had been reheated and was tough and chewy and tasted of poor quality, full of cereal and cheap. Not what you'd expect from the butchers next door and used to get when it opened.Coffee tasted cheap and it was all inedible. We've never left so much food before and felt totally ripped off!A child could've cooked a better breakfast, made us think the chef was hungover and was expensive to rub salt in the wounds! The waitress also didn't offer us any condiments so we had to pinch them off another table when they'd finished and no sweeteners offered either, as she didn't return we had to go inside to get some and queue again.Awful experience..

Stopped here one Sunday afternoon whilst cruising along the canal. Just wanted sandwiches to take away on our boat. Paid £15 for two sandwiches and £3 for two cans of coke! To takeaway!! One of the sandwiches was just plain white bread and slices of bacon. Thought this was very expensive even for 'southern' prices (I'm from the north). The café itself looked clean and attractive. There was a lovely outdoor seating area which I am sure will be perfect in summer. Just remember to arrange an overdraft facility in order to pay for it.

What a delightful place to visit. The cakes in this café are to die for. They are home made and delicious and the portions are generous. Tea comes in a pot and the coffee is good also. The ladies serving are cheerful and welcoming. We will definitely be making a return trip.
