Welcoming cafe serving both traditional English cooked breakfasts together with Thai food and new dishes on rotation every week. Quality coffee also available from 7am. The menu will be updated on a regular basis and a new autumn menu and evening takeaway
We came across this little cafe during a rain storm. It looked like any other greasy spoon from the outside but did the most amazing Thai food. The lady serving/cooking said she was Thai so obvious knew what she was doing. The selection is quite small, about 3 starters and 5 main courses but was plenty enough to choose from as we could anything with King Prawn ,chicken or vegetarianDear Thai Foodie, Thanks for your kind words. We will be adding additional items to the Thai menu soon but if there is anything you would like to see included please let us know. We can make the food as spicy or mild as you like.

From just walking in the atmosphere was very unwelcoming, the lass behind the counter was very short with us, we ordered breakfast & went to sit down, the place seems clean enough... But something unsettling about it?!Anyway our breakfasts came, they looked pleasant enough.... Until.....I tried a mushroom.... Oh my goodness it was the MOST disgusting thing I have EVER eaten!!!Were they off? How were they cooked? I'm sure they were off??!! The smelt so bad that I wretched!! Even the people I was with tried them & felt very sick! The sausages were of incredibly poor quality, the bacon was fatty & the sauté potatoes well over cooked & chewy!... Like they had been cooked previously & re-heated in the fryer? I definitely will not be returning, shame.
Just off the Cuckoos Trail on the premises of the old Wessons/Ogriâs cafe, TPodz is no longer a âbiker cafeâ though still biker friendly. The place is split between an Aladdinâs cave at the front, that changes depending on the pop-up shops present, and a cafe at the rear with outside seating on the front porch. The menu is a straightforward choice of all-day breakfast fry-ups (including veggie options), baked potatoes with various fillings, milkshakes and homemade cakes - mostly using high-quality local ingredients. The quality is very good - youâd be lucky to find anything as good never mind better in the posh tearooms of Alfriston and other touristy historic villages. And then youâd be paying twice the price. Thereâs no frou-frou here, but the foodâs great and outstanding value for money. The service is down-to-earth and very friendly. And the whole place is very dog-friendly. Highly recommended.

Back at 2 Sisters again yesterday evening for a burger night. Excellent food as always. Great for breakfasts, lunches, coffee and cake with friends and family. My grandchildren love it. Last week they even arranged an afternoon tea for my parents 65th wedding anniversary. It was delivered in a lovely wicker basket with a full afternoon tea, they loved it. Definitely will be going back lots. Owner is always so helpful and the place has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Keep up the great work.

During our stay in Eastbourne we visited many attractions in the surrounding areas. On Friday 24th August, 2018, we decided to explore the villages and hamlets of East Sussex and Kent. In the charming small town of Heathfield we found the Aroma Diner which turned out to be a very friendly place. We ordered scones, jam and teas. It was delicious. The man who served us was very pleasant. He kindly gave us directions for the Kent and East Sussex Railway. Would certainly visit again if in the area.

Having moved to Heathfield just a week prior to visiting The Bay Tree for breakfast, we were so happy to find somewhere that does such an incredibly delicious breakfast within walking distance!Iâm quite fussy when it comes to Eggs Royale as I often like extras such as mushrooms too and the muffin has to be soft and warm and the eggs perfectly soft boiled and the hollandaise sauce nice and warm making the dish overall of a good temperature..... the lovely lady who took my order was so friendly and accommodating, she listened to how I like Eggs Royale and it actually arrived 10 times better than Iâd expected!! The Bay Tree has a lovely community feel and superb food and I would highly recommend this place :)

First visit to cafe itself and not disappointed.Rather restricted menu unless you are a lover of burgers - that seems to be the rage most places you go. If there before midday then there other items available.Hot and cold drinks available, plus items from the bar.Plenty of inside seating and outside as well Down below is a lake handy for those wishing to pass the time fishing.Prices are a bit higher than expected, but there's no competition and overall it's a nice spot

We visited this deli, in our high street, yesterday. After going passed many times, and liking what we saw every time.We had a great time, enjoying wonderful food. The pizza from the trailer was excellent, and then we had a sharing board. Made up of the most tasty cheeses, Italian meats, huge olives etc.Washed down with cold lager on tap, and a glass of red wine ( chosen from a good range ). Thoroughly recommend and will be returning again. Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. We look forward to welcoming you back for more of the same!
