Popped in as we hadnt been here before, liked the look of the place and decided to stay and have a drink as it wasnt that busy at that time, ordered and paid for the the 2 drinks, inbetween 2 other people being served, 30 minutes we were still waiitng so i went over to ask where i drinks were and we had been forgotten, no apology so i asked for my money back and left, oh dear what a shame as we will not be going back here in a hurry, the worst thing is apart from no apology is that this is local to us !!!!

Came here with my wife for a couple of bits and decided on a late lunch/early dinner. We had the pie of the day, and sausages, both with mash and veg. We were surprised just how good the quality was. The pie (Meat & Ale) must rate as one of the best I have had in a long time, the pastry was not overbearing, another was plenty of meat. The veg was crisp, fresh, and varied. Service was friendly and everything looked clean.

We love this place, everything u could want in a coffee shop. Staff are the friendliest u will ever come across, coffee is simple suburb and the cakes are to die for. We are there all the time after taking our dog for a walk round the back.
Nice cafe with great coffee This also has a small childâs soft play area which is great for the under twos, needs a few more items for bigger kids ,but all in all a very nice cafe
Bake Out provide Sussex with freshly made bread, pastries and locally roasted coffee.
This place is so good I sometimes make a special car journey to buy bread and take-away food - though you can eat in if you wish. The artisan bread, available in white and brown versions, tastes wonderful and is excellent value. Other freshly-made breads, including sourdough, cost more but are even better. A nice selection of sandwiches, hot pasties and enticing confectionery (brownies!) complete the choices. Swift and friendly service.

The Coach House is owned by Mother and Daughter team, Andrea and Emma. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunches, afternoon tea's and provide a takeaway service for drinks and food. You can expect full English Breakfasts, homemade Giant Scotch eggs, sausage r
Never been here before, what a lovely little place it is, the two people working there were so friendly, as soon as we walked in, our table was reserved, the food was first class, you choose your own sandwiches, and these are made up for you, could not fault it, will go there again, highly recomended.

Donât know if they was having an off day because the reviews look good but our breakfast unfortunately was awful. Very small portions, wrong orders, all came out at different times and found it extremely overpriced. Wonât be returningHi JayI'm sorry to read your review and that you feel we have not met your expectations. Please would you be so kind as to email me. Many thanks Denise [email protected]

This cafe is a real asset for Hassocks with a lovely friendly atmosphere. It has a varied menu at lunchtime of quiches, sandwiches and jackets and several sweet choices. If I had one wish it would be that the staff took your order at the table rather than one of the party having to go up to the counter to order drinks and each individual course.

A mixture of coffee bar, cafe and bistro with something for pretty much everyone. Quality ingredients make up a varied reasonably priced breakfast menu, including a range of house specials such as 3 types of SHAKSHUKA - Classic, Meat and Vegan - Breakfast
Chris's latest offer: supper for a fiver, not to be missed. Chicken fajitas so much better than you find at chain tex-mex restaurants for much more. The offer is on Tues-Thurs evenings and great when you're tired after work and don't feel like cooking (or a mediocre takeaway). One of the nice touches is that Chris will vary the dish to suit your tastes..No license currently but there's a Sainsbury's local almost opposite. Great place for lunch too.

The Nutmeg Tree is a Tearooms/Restaurant set in the 1930's/40's. Traditional English ,serving morning coffee, all day breakfast, lunches & afternoon tea. Has a beautiful courtyard garden. Licensed & dog friendly.
Outstanding rendition of a classic English Tea House. Decor, staff, uniforms, service, food, tea, sweets all done brilliantly. Will return for sure!
