We stopped in by chance because there were so many cars out front. We weren't disappointed. First, our server (Hallie) was extremely helpful and friendly. I had the best veggie omelet I've ever had and hubby had the Hearty Breakfast, equally as good. FARM fish eggs and other ingredients!.

I have seen their signs along Rt. 340 towards Harper's Ferry/Charles Town in Frederick County, MD for years and finally decided to stop by...am I ever glad I did. First off, it is a large room in a converted church (how cool is THAT!), and the whole community seemed to be enjoying themselves inside this wonderful local restaurant. Every age, all sizes of groups, everyone was enjoying themselves...you can tell this is where the neighbors meet to enjoy spending time together. Fair-sized menu, offering meals and desserts and 'Shareables' (what 'Shareable'...GET YOUR OWN!!! ;-> ). I came for coffee and pastries, but also tried the Roma sandwich and Caprese salad. Next time it is either the Quiche or breakfast sandwich....and...coffee and pastry. Street parking. If you are in a wheelchair, call to let them know to bring out the ramp. Although there is a bathroom, I didn't see if it was wheelchair accessible. The Owner/Operator (Mrs. and Mr. Politis) are AWESOME, as was the Wait Staff. Great food at a great price in an AWESOME setting...the setting alone is worth stopping by to see. So if you are in Frederick, or Harper's Ferry (or somewhere along the C&O Canal/Potomac River near Brunswick, MD...stop by Beans in the Belfry for a unique and fun, tasty, dining experience. Enjoy! :-D

Because the Restaurant had no record of the reservation I thought I had made 6 weeks earlier, the hostess accommodated us in the bar with high tables and chairs and limited light fare. We enjoyed the food we ordered an since we ha theater tickets afterwards it was probably best to have had the llimited menu. We will probably return for a full meal another time because we enjoyed our sample.

We love the Moon and go there about once a month. It's especially nice when the weather permits outdoor seating under the trees with the Town Run rushing musically through. The food is reliably good, the service cheerful if not always proficient, the atmosphere always charming.
