This wooden cafeteria was owned by Mannerheim, the former president of Finland, in 1927-1933. It is still a very charming cafeteria. They bake all cakes and fancy cakes themselves - and pastries are very delicious!They have a large summer terrace and even a small sandy beach. Cliffs are beautiful and sea view is marvelous. The Finnish name of the cafeteria is Neljän Tuulen Tupa which means the house of the four winds because the place may be quite windy.Neljän Tuulen Tupa is accessible by car but I recommend that you walk from the city center. The distance is about two kilometers and the seaside walkway is very beautiful. You see both old wooden villas, sandy swimming beaches and beautiful sea views.

Lovely place to stop by and have a cup of coffee or spend an evening enjoying superb dinner. I visited this place with my husband and dad. We were suprised by the extremely high-level food/kitchen performance and no-nonsense lovely service. I can highly recommend the pelmenis for starters. Extremely good. I had a stake for main course and it was just perfect in all accounts. Will visit this place again. So happy to see this new place in Hanko.

The location is good with a terrace, coffee ok but no hand pour service here. Nice beans, good location wish they offered fresh hand pour like the store in Tammisaari.

A couple of hundred meters from the harbor, nearly half way to the "main shipping district" is HanDeli, a coffee shop also selling bakery. Price, quality reasonable.
