A welcome coffee stop in the lovely village of Boxford. A good number of indoor seats as well as a few outside, the cafe is nicely decorated with several historic and modern pictures on the walls. Friendly staff, and a good selection of drinks and cakes etc. available. Our drinks were good, coffees were £2.50 each, a pleasant stopover.

Sat outside as a nice day. Ordered two rounds of sandwiches and tea. Bread quite dry, both white and granary, not very fresh. Very busy and as a nice day sat outside. Wasps everywhere. Many passing customers walked away. Spilt the afternoon. Tables not rapidly cleared as one member of staff said other staff did not want to do it due to wasps. Very poor. If you want to take my money then serve me as a customer. Wonât be rushing back.

A timber framed, 16th century cottage which has been converted by the owner to a traditional tea rooms. Get taken back in time with original family photos on the walls, Glenn Miller being played on the gramophone, bone china cups & saucers and a proper te
Had a early lunch here at the recommendation of a local merchant, was not disappointed. The fresh bread is supplied by a local baker. Great and friendly service, tea warmed us right up. No room for dessert but the cakes looked yummy!Dear joefO5663RYThanks for sharing your review of your recent lunch at Lavenham Blue Vintage Tea Rooms. Corn Craft Gift Shop and Tea Room is a family run business located in Monks Eleigh, one of Suffolk's prettiest villages. It is part of a rural retail complex known as Bridge Farm Barns. The barns are a collection of unique, independent businesses each off
Lovely barn offering gifts, jewellery. Clothing, children's bits and leather bags. Deceiving from the outside as much larger Inside. Probably on the experience side but nice selection. Looked to be a nice coffee shop inside too.

our waiters and food were great. however we were prevented from giving a small bit of bread, cheese and banana to my 2 year old and told that we could only give her restaurant food. she is only 2 and doesn't eat restaurant food so instead of a nutritious snack we had to order cake for her !!!

Been here once before and greeted with same friendly and efficient service. Lots of little nick nack to look at and purchase. Ordered ploughmans with cheese and ham, and came with a lovely warm roll, homemade chutney and tastey coleslaw, plenty of pickled onions and grapes, lovely!!

Cafe, serving great coffee & tea. All day menu Selection of wine & beer
Another visit to this lovely cafe, breakfast today. The staff are so accommodating, they made me mashed avocado, mushrooms and tomatoes on sourdough. It was delicious. My partner in crime had the same but with poached eggs. We nattered so long that we also had cake, any excuse!! I had a vegan chocolate cake which was yummy. My friend had banana cake which she enjoyed very much. This is a really nice cafe and we will visit again.

Venture through the first bar into a lovely cottage style garden with several discreet eating areas. Tasty homemade food served with a friendly smile.

A family visit for lunch at 13.30 resulted in a bad taste in he mouth on several counts. Starters consisted of patronising , heavily perfumed and unsmiling ladies who swapped half way through the order. Main course was reheated to a degree they were so hard a knife couldnât cut them (their self proclaimed âFamous Wedgesâ) Burgers so thin and pre bough ( Linda McCartney?) they were tasteless and a basic salad and coleslaw. The Ploughmamâs was good and enjoyable though with plenty on the plate and warm soft bread. Desert.... not risking it thank you. Those of us with burger options couldnât eat our food and went home hungry for a snack. At over £50 for 4 of us it was overpriced for the quality, patronising waiting staff and punching on prices for a small high street establishment. The premises are lovely, clean and comfortable so on that count they get high marks. No return flights for any of us and wouldnât recommend.

Great cafe. Big menu and waitress service too. There's no airs and graces but the food is great, freshly cooked and good value too. Great place to people watch too!
