Bryggjan Grindavik, is a fisherman´s Cafe on the pier by the Grindavik Harbour, offering Lobster Soup, fish entrés, open faced sandwiches, coffee, drinks and cakes.
Stopped here for lunch on tour around the peninsula.Lovely lobster soup, a little salty but that didn't stop me having a second helping (free refill). There is a small bar area on the ground floor with outside seating but go upstairs for a better view and more food options, looks like its used as en entertainment venue as well.Good service.

Hjá höllu is a healthy restaurant in the town GrindavÃk, located just a few minutes from the Blue Lagoon. We are also located at Keflavik Airport ( close to the C gates) We are open from 08:00 to 17:00 on weekdays. We serve a delicious breakfast platter f
Beef soup for me and basil sandwich for my husband. Both were super yummy! So glad we stopped here before the lagoon. Very cute little place located inside a mini mart. Friendly staff and food was some of the best we have had in Iceland! Thanks for the reviewI must agree you with the basil sandwich :-) It has been one of my favourite for years. We are very proud that many reviews mention that both the food and the staff was great, I will tell the girls about your review.Hope you had nice time in the lagoon and the rest of your time here in Iceland.

We were tired from not sleeping and driving our camper van around the south side of the island on a rainy, dreary day when we came upon this bakery. Two preteen Icelandic girls working there welcomed us and made some hot coffee to warm us. We asked them what pastries & donuts they recommended, tried them, and had a great time chatting with the girls. The coffee was nice and strong and the baked goods were delicious. Wish we could have returned, but we were driving the entire ring road and had to move along.
