So glad we found the Cafe..They do have a small menu, but we enjoyed everything we tried. Pancakes and omelets! Pancakes are big...Service: Friendly and helpful from everyone.Food: We loved it and would definitely go back when in town.Hrs:Closed on Sunday; other days 7:00-2:00Close to the golf course. We went for breakfast, but they also have lunch.Small seating area, so could get busy at times. So worth it...

First the Cuban sandwich pictured in the website is not what you get. My sandwich had so little in it, it was only about a quarter of an inch thick. I detected no roast pork, no pickle. All it had was very few slices of ham and a sliver of Swiss cheese with a hint of some kind of dressing. It came with about a tablespoon of cilantro sauce on the side. I also had an empanada. The filling was ground beef and was very bland. My wife had a platter with a small (less than 1/4 pound) of very dry chicken breast. The black beans looked and tasted like they came directly out of a can. The rice had no seasoning. Actually she said nothing on the plate was good and was very bland. We have enjoyed authentic Cuban food in South Florida. Buenavista Cuban doesn't come close. To make matters worse the TV was very loud with a Cuban dance video blaring making conversation difficult. We won't be going back.I'm so sorry to hear that your visit wasn't what you expected. Coming from a true Cuban culture I can assure you that we are true authentic Cuban Cuisine. However like anyone in the restaurant business we do make mistakes and will learn from the mistakes. Our portions are very fair on our Cuban Sandwich, however I do have customers that like more meat on there. It all depends on your opinion on portions. I would like to also point out that we make everything from scratch. Empanadas, papas, and beans too ect. Traditional Cuban white rice has no spices only salt and oil. Again growing up in Cuba and coming from a cooking back ground I can assure you that there are no additional spices, not sure what kind of Cuban food you have had in the past. I'm assuming it was possible Cuban-American. We do not Americanize our Cuban food here. What you find here at the cafe is what you would have at my families house. Cuba is also known for its music, and we pride in our music, however I do apologize that it was too loud, i'm sure if you would have mentioned it we could have lowered the volume. Again we are sorry it wasn't of your liking. We hope that you can give us another try in the future. With love Your local Cuban Family.

This cafe is located in the Greenwood mall, next to Michaels crafts, I had never eaten at this place before, while I stop at the greenwood mall for a break and maybe a munch while traveling, I had never noticed this one, must be new or was always that uneyecatching of a location. When I came in I was greeted very friendly, the service girl asked if I was ready to order, I told her not yet I have to study the menu, I have never eaten at a Honeybaked ham before, and told her I was totally unfamiliar with the restaurant or its foods. She pointed out they had menus behind me near the entrance. So I asked her if it was same as the the one behind her on wall I was studying, she said yes, and I told her I would need some time since I have never ate here before , I have no idea what to get.So she told me to just let her know when I was ready to order. Now at this point she utterly failed in customer service! two strikes at the chance to at the least recommend something, ask what sort of sandwiches I like, review the menu and so forth..but she offered no help to me what so ever, despite being told i'm a new customer and totally unfamiliar with their selection. She again returned and asked if I was ready yet, although I did not even indicate I was yet ready, as she told me to. So I settled in on the first thing That caught my eye, a roast beef and cheddar, having eaten and loved these for years from Arby's, I thought it was a safe choice to try, yet how mistaken I was! It ends up their version has a "zesty horseradish sauce", I had gotten my order to go as I was traveling, so I did not discover this until I began eating the sandwich later, I was totally unprepared for hot and spicy mouth burning flavour! I cannot stand spicy hot foods and to top it off It was a long hot day with no air in my car! I was simply disguisted at this point! Since I had told the girl I was unfamiliar with their foods, she should have noted that sauce to me when I finally ordered, but nope she let me order and go. I doubt I will ever return to this cafe, but at least if I do, I will know about the sauce. The sandwich otherwise was very bland, the cheddar was unimpressive, the amount of Roast beef did not allow enough to savour any flavour of it, and its high quality Croissant roll was about 80 percent of my sandwich! If this is an example of the quality of the foods they offer, It was definately not worth the price I paid..the girl did not offer a combo either! so I paid about 9 bucks for a sandwich and drink..money I could have spent on a full plate at a resturant! I feel sorry for anyone just trying this place out for the first time, especially Local residents and customers.
