The Stomping Grounds have two locations. One is in the Memorial Union and the other is attached to University Place apartments. The Memorial Union location is usually busy around 10-12, when most students get out of class. They have pastries and sweets which are all amazing; my favorite thing to get is their cream filled long-johns. They serve iced coffee, smoothies, specialty coffee, teas and regular coffee. The people who work there are always polite and friendly, even when they get overrun with students. The University Place location has a drive through, but you can also go inside and order. This site serves soups and subs along with coffees and teas. Along with the coffee, soups and subs, you can also look around the little food store and find everything from asprin to pizzas. The food here is a little expensive but I have never had a bad sub or cup of soup. This location isn't near as busy as the Memorial Union location. Some of the staff at this location are rather gruff compared to the ones at the Memorial Union.

Looking for a great treat or dessert after dinner? Maybe you just want to skip dinner and go for a crepe from Tea and Crepe. Yes, this is a great idea! Skip dinner and enjoy a couple of fantastic ice cream crepes! This sounds so awesome to me! Crepes might be in my plans for tonight! Happily located in the middle of the 300 block of Demers Ave. in Downtown Grand Forks, Tea and Crepe is a party in your mouth waiting to happen! My family and friends agree that we are very fortunate to have a place like this in our fair city. Looking for a treat? There's no need to look further. Sounds like Tea & Crepe is in your plans too! Good deal!

The North Dakota Museum Of Art Cafe can be a little difficult to access due to limited parking, but it is certainly worth the hassle. Everything is freshly prepared and features a small standard menu, along with a daily special. Additionally, the chef uses locally sourced and organic ingredients when possible. Prices range from $9 to $11 per meal. This is a great little lunch place in Grand Forks!
Who would have thought that this cafe in Scheels would make excellent sandwiches at great prices? Not me! But I was WRONG! After eating here today, I would not hesitate one second to eat here again! And I'm telling you straight out, you really need to check this place out for yourself! Ginna's Cafe gained a new fan today. I will never walk by this cafe again without wanting to stop in to try another menu item. I ordered two sandwiches today... The Outdoorsman and the Reuben. The Outdoorsman with wheat bread was STACKED! Oh my WOW! This sandwich really made me HAPPY! Totally rocked my world! I'd order that again in a heartbeat! My Reuben is a little different story. Being that I am trying to find the best Reuben in the Grand Forks area, I saw it on the menu and had to try it. It fell short of my expectations for a fantastic Reuben, but it was still pretty good. It was pretty thin for what I am looking for, and the marble rye could have been grilled with butter instead of just being toasted, but it was still a tasty sandwich. Yes, I would eat here at Ginna's Cafe again. I need to do so! There are many other menu items that I would like to try. Thank you for providing a clean and comfortable cafe with really good food! It certainly was a nice surprise! Hope to see you again soon!

The Big Sioux Special (use to be called the Trucker's Special) has been my "go-to" breakfast for years. It has never disappointed me. Accompanied by a large order of fries and gravy, and you're set! This place is legendary! My only concern is that our finished meal plates were not pre-bussed and our server, though very attentive in the beginning, was nowhere to be seen towards the end, and the place certainly was not busy later on in our meal.

Great service great food. Plenty of food and good value for your dollar. Exciting entertaining good family restaurant that caters to all needs and tastes. Cinnamon bread and peanuts really excite the kids before their meals even come.

We stopped here for dinner one evening while in town. We ordered a couple of sodas, hamburgers, and fries. Hamburgers were good, really liked the fries, but the sodas were very flat (probably needs something changed on the machine). Based on food alone, I would probably eat here again. Prices are fairly reasonable. However, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. There was some arguing going on between a few employees (not sure if owners, wait staff, or who). It made the tension somewhat high in the restaurant and that will probably deter me from coming back. I know employers/employees have issues at times, but out in front of the customers is not the place to hash it out.
