Things to do in Ginowan
I had a tea there which was ok, but my companion had coffee and said it was very good. There were lots of people studying in there, one guy being taught Japanese. It is not cosy, but chilled.Recommended.

Very good breakfast place. Very friendly staff, great food and setting. The only negative thing is the waiting time to get in. There are quite some tables but demand definitely supersedes the capacity of this place, so you need to wait in a que to get in (expect up to 30 min waiting). They offer great egg Benedict - plane or with salmon. But star of this restaurant are definitely souffle pancakes with cream and fruits. Njami!

This cafe offers a vibrant atmosphere with indoor/ outdoor seating. We love the hotcakes - soft and fluffy though there were presented simple. Everything was good - this is an ideally excellent lunch spot which overlooks the seafront. Though there was a queue, with their reasonable prices, this café definitely worth the wait.
Really Cool Cafe & Diner in a huge garage! The friendly staff serve a variety of mouth watering cuisine along with a wide assortment of drinks. You are guaranteed to find a few favorites. The atmosphere is light, easy and family friendly! You and your you
Really enjoyed my lunch at Rider's, a spacious and well decorated cafe serving very satisfying food in generous portions - I had the Seafood Gumbo with a fresh lemonade and it was just yummy. But the highlight is definitely the amazing car / truck / bike collection displayed in the cafe, truly like a small museum and that's probably unique in Okinawa. The owner nicely took time to introduce me with each piece and its history. Great experience and will be back soon at dinner time as the atmosphere must be cool in the evening too!

Cafe Unison's âUnisonâ is a word that means harmony, coincidence, music singing and singing. Various musical instruments such as meal, cafe, eco, lohas, interior, design, music, literature, art, and video gather together in an organic manner under the wor
I usually get the prosciutto sandwich. I also like the roasted veggie salad. For a treat, I like to get the black sesame milk, Chai tea or scones. I did not like their Thai Fried rice. They have English menus and friendly staff, do not go there if you are in a hurry, it usually takes a while.

we went there for my daughters 4yr old birthday we went there to celebrate my (June 7, 2019 dinner )daughter's birthday, as I'm waiting for the host to bring us to table I think the manager or supervisor said we wait for 10 minutes. after a few minutes, he came back and bring us to the corner table which is not very nice, I taught the restaurant is full of customers because he asks us to wait for 10 minutes. when I look around the restaurant it is not even half full and there's a lot of vacant tables everywhere. very disappointed with the manager. I ask the manager beforehand if they can sing happy birthday to my daughter he did no actually said no but I can sense that already, but the other guy said only candle presentation. I said ok, but we are waiting but no candle presentation happen.. so I bring out my candle and get a cake from the dessert station of the and make my own...and ask for the lighter to him, the manager ( manager is no good)... I appreciate that he did not charge us for my daughter buffet. and thank you for that. But I will not return back to eat here. not even recommend to my friend. customer service very poor.

Stumbled upon this cafe while walking along the Shurikinjocho stone-path. Perched close to the top of the hill, Madama's shady al fresco dining area offers a sweeping view of Okinawa and serves as a great place to enjoy the afternoon breeze. The owner was extremely friendly (even by Japanese standards), and very welcoming. I had the Okinawa Soba (noodles in soup with pork), and the simmered pork was unbelievable. A very, very pleasant way to spend the afternoon -for lunch, tea, or just a quick break.

I think every travelers would love to try something local / traditional. Here, we can try the traditional sweets in this traditional place with a good price. There are 4 different sweets with a cup of tea (refillable), the sweets are tasty. And the staff in there are very nice & can speak fluent English.

From the macaroni and cheese, voodoo rolls, and shrimp étouffée, this place is my favorite spot on island! The owner is funny and welcoming and the staff are great! I eat here at least once a week! The decor and atmosphere are fun, yet family friendly! For those interested in a good time, the bar has a good variety as well! If you live here or are just visiting, stop by, you will not be disappointed
