Garachico is a municipality and town on the northern coast of Tenerife, about 52 km West of the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 50 km from Tenerife North Airport and 67 km from Tenerife South Airport. The town itself nestles below a 500m+ (1500 ft) cliff. Garachico and the surrounding area is arguably the least spoilt coastal area of Tenerife, and is in sharp contrast to areas such as Playa de las Americas. It is still very Spanish in character, and a Spanish phrasebook is advisable for non-Spanish speaking visitors.

We came across this place when wandering around on our first day in town - it is at the far end on the way to the statue of the 'emigrant'. It is nothing overly special - however it is very clean (including the loos), and the service was very friendly, so it's worth dropping in for a beer or coffee if you are in the area, but don't make a special trip.

Local pequeño y agradable con terraza en el centro de Garachico. Café rico y barato y variedad de dulces tÃpicos italianos. Tienen también pizzas etc. Dentro un par de mesitas. Trato agradable.

This was the luckiest thing ever happened during our holiday in Tenerife! The loveliest staff welcomed us on a late Christmas eve in an awesome pirate themed spot; great food, perfect atmosphere, and the best liquor-after-meal own creation of the owners!(ask about it!!)
