My wonderful husband was full of surprises for my 50th birthday. He had friends and my daughter flown down from Alaska, Invited all my local friends, and had Soul2Soul cater our Friday night celebration. Everyone raves about all the delicious dishes, fried ribs, gumbo, chicken, potatoes, pecan pie, banana pudding, cobbler and more. So delicious and we had food for days.

Stopped in because it was close to moody gardens convention center where we were at a Tae Kwon Do tournament. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our last minute change in order from eat in to take out, but the sandwiches that sounded like they would be awesome were mediocre at best. I really liked the fries though. For the price, it probably would have been better to go to a burger or sub place instead. Thank you for your review. I would have to look back to remember you order but our sandwiches are usually raved about. I will Check into what you had and address issues with the staff that will correct this in the future.

Since our room was not ready and we just arrived around lunch time, sitting in the cafe was a good choice. the flatbread was amazing. my room service breakfast, which came from the same kitchen was also very good.

I was sad to find out that my favorite lunch place in Galveston had closed a couple of months back. Then I rejoiced when I found out it had re-opened under new management. Immediately I noticed the small change in decor. The menu remained un-changed, that is, until today. The zucchini in the vegetarian sandwich used to be thinly sliced and served raw. They changed it to be grilled until it is mush, just a bad combination overall. When I used the restrooms after my meal it was obvious that the floors had not been cleaned since the change of management, with the hand towel dispenser taped shut with blue tape, waste basket over-flowing with trash, and the other restroom out of order. If this place continues like this, it wonât be open for long. I want to support my favorite place, but you got to keep up the standards. This place needs help!

Excellent breakfast and we loved the biscuits and gravy. My wife had the bacon and grits with it and I had the sausage and hashbrowns. Everything was cooked properly and tasted great. This is a really good breakfast spot. We finished it off with some beignets. We always stop here on our visits to Galveston. That is great to hear! We're glad to see that you liked everything, and we will look forward to your next visit to the Island!
