A quirky little tearoom that is very popular for Birthdays, Baby showers, Hen parties and Wakes. We specialise in afternoon teas but offer a full menu. We also provide outside catering at competitive prices. The tearoom is available to hire for up to 25 g

I recently visited The Vintage Tearoom with family who are not from the area. We had a lovely afternoon tea with plenty of fresh, well-filled sandwiches, sausage rolls, delicious homemade cake and warm scones which came with lots of jam and cream (we asked for extra cream- this was no problem and we were not charged extra unlike other places we have visited). We drank plenty of tea and coffee which we found out was all included in the price of the afternoon tea making it excellent value for money! The decor is certainly different and we all loved the hollywood wallpaper mixed with the vintage themed photos which perfectly suits the tearoomâs name. The staff were friendly and very accommodating- nothing was too much trouble. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing experience - really enjoyed the 50s background music which made our visit all the better. We will definitely be returning and weather permitting on our next visit we would love to sit in the well kept , dog friendly garden. Thank you again ladies for a wonderful experience! Small coffee shop in Marshall Yard not a lot of seating and some not terribly comfortable but coffee excellent and cakes are gorgeous. Well worth visiting. Friendly staff.
