I enjoyed my solo breakfast the other day. A wonderful beginning to a very busy day. If you have gluten free issues, I strongly recommend the Caveman Cakes, made from almond flour. Topped with fresh fruit and coconut whipped cream and a generous portion of walnuts. Had to try a side of the nitrate free bacon......yummy!!Service is wonderful.

Been here several times, and always a consistent meh. Food is ok. Tonight I tried something different, but still just fine. So were the meals of my three dining companions. Everyoneâs meal was fine. The breeze was great and the drinks were perfect; live music from Swing Theory was quality. But ... then the plastic in the black bean hummus ... final straw. I donât see any good reason to go back for food.

This sandwich shop and pastry is in a large shopping area off Newberry Road, and is OK for a lunch stop if you are in the area for other reasons. Not worth a special trip. My sandwich was dry and hard to eat, but my companion said she enjoyed hers. We're sorry to hear that you had an unfavorable experience with us. We comp food that our customers feel is not up to our standards. If you eat here again, we'll do better.

This is a good place to go for breakfast. Food was good. Pancakes are huge. If you don't eat much one pancake will do. They are literally the circumference of a large frying pan and quite thick. Omelets are delicious.

If you love biscuits and great breakfast food, then try the Flying Biscuit Cafe in Gainesville. I had the Chicken Pot Pie which has 2 full biscuits covered in chicken chunks, peas, potatoes, carrots and gravy. The French toast was cooked perfectly and served with mixed berries on top. The egg and bacon sandwich comes on a bun and you have a choice of potatoes or grits as a side. The Grits are creamy and delicious. If you like biscuits with gravy then you have to try theirs. The biscuits are nice size and have a sprinkling of sugar on the very top. Service was good, but be ready to wait. This is a small restaurant, but is very popular. I recommend this for any breakfast lovers.

I have visited this location twice now. My daughter goes to school at UF and lives right around the corner. The menu has a great selection, but we always make it for brunch. The management and wait staff are very diligent and I love that my glass is always full.If you are going with a group, make sure to go early or be prepared to wait - It's that good (there is always a wait out the door). FYI - no waiting for the bar if it's just you or a couple.

Gainesville has quite a few of these hometown restaurants that you only find in college towns. This place is one of the best, specially if you like an eclectic decor and home style cooking. Lots of choices for breakfast and all cost just from $10.50 to $11.75. They do charge extra for maple syrup, around $1.65, go figure! The French Toast was good and plenty generous. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the coffee kept getting re-filled. The service was very good too. Make sure you take plenty of cash as they do not accept credit cards, something that happened at another place the previous night.

Absolutely casual. I would say X Casual. It is no only Cuban - you find also few Venezuelan delicacies. We had tequenos and chicken arepas. Tequenos were really good, arepas only average. The donât serve alcohol. Arepas outdoor without beer, I donât think is even legal.
