If you don't like this place, then its time to give up. Breakfast was second to none, and a class up from the normal. The interior is from a time gone bye and gives you a real flavour of a bye gone era. Please don't change anything.Dear Micky270566, wow thank you so much for your wonderful review about the Westminster tea rooms. I am delighted that you enjoyed your visit to us and that you enjoyed your breakfast. We take great pride in all that we do here at the Westminster, including the quality and quantity of the food that we serve ,the service and the decor and ambience . We certainly have no intentions of changing anything just yet Micky270566, so please do not worry about us changing anything ,as we feel that the decor and ambience of the Westminster is rather relaxing and calming, away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life, even if it is just for an hour or two. I thank you once again for you wonderful review and a very warm welcome awaits you should you choose to return to the Westminster. With kind regards from Debbie, Ray and staff.

Me and a friend used to be frequent visitors to this cafe but unfortunately last time we were made to feel like we are not welcome. We put our bikes where we were told to on all previous visits but this time some woman came over and aggressively had a go at us for bringing our bikes.HiWe are sorry you did not feel welcome as our aim is for everyone to feel relaxed and happy whilst at MeCycle, we hope you consider coming back to visit sometime soon. We are not allowed to keep bikes near to doors as they are all fire exits. To make this easier we now ask that all cafe customers keep their bikes outside, I hope this makes sense and apologies if this was not explained well at the time

We are a family run business providing freshly cooked produce to the local community for over 20 years. We are now fully licensed and open late Friday and Saturday evenings.
Donât be fooled by the outside appearance of the café, as inside itâs clean and roomy, with excellent food on offer. I had the ploughmanâs lunch which was everything I wanted it to be. Plenty of cheese and pickle, fresh salad and some of the best ham Iâve had in a while. All served with a smile. If I was local Iâd eat there every day!

Our bagels are hand made onsite fresh every day. We offer various fillings including smoked salmon and cream cheese and the very popular hot salt beef which is boiled for 5 hours with herbs and spices. We have a range of fillings available with some vegan
Out with friends for a Friday afternoon of fun in Ormskirk & feeling peckish. The Bagel Deli caught my eye and after a quick "sense check" on Trip Advisor, realised this place came highly rated.I chose a salt beef bagel & it didn`t disappoint.Plenty of moist, sliced salt beef on a plain bagel with gerkin & English mustard. Delicious.£3.99 (plus a little extra for the pickle) offered good value for a late lunch time treat. The homemade cakes looked wonderful, though I resisted temptation on this occasion.Service was friendly, personable & efficient. My first visit, but it won`t be my last. It`s very central, on Moor Street - a few yards from the clock tower.Well worth a try if you are in town. Recommended.

Nice little bar, where we popped in for a quick drink on the way to meet friends. Decent glass of white wine, and I ordered a Theakstons IPA. This was to say the least lively, and would not have settled for 15 mins. I asked for a different beer and it was provided. Excellent service, and the only reason for the review. The female member of staff then went off shift at 7pm. you know who you are, - good stuff.

Our lovely friends Jane & Paul take three of us here every year for a reunion and it's great! A lovely clean bar/restaurant with equally clean toilets. Friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. The Shipyard Ale is just a wonderful pint here and highly recommended!! We will be back next year we can assure you!!! Maybe next time we will try the food on offer.

A family run vintage tea room serving a wide range of cakes, sandwiches, salads, oven baked potatoes, cooked breakfasts, homemade soups, cakes, scones and healthy cakes. We always have gluten free and vegetarian meal options as well as vegan, gluten free
Have visited this delightful cafe over the past few years and have always enjoyed the food, ambience, as well as the pleasant staff. My only dissatisfaction was regarding how dark it was which detracted a little from the friendly and charming atmosphere. However, on my recent visit, it was a pleasant surprise to see that some improvements had been made which means there is now much more natural light. This has made such a difference and is more in keeping with the welcoming feel of the cafe. During my visit I learned the venue had changed hands as I had the pleasure of meeting the new owners who are also extremely friendly and obviously keen to make a go of it. I can't see any reason why they shouldn't be a huge success and wish them all the very best. Almost forgot! The food and beverages were excellent too!
Have been frequently for breakfast. Top quality food and service. The ownersran the Pinewoods pub recently when the Pinewoods had a high reputation for food.A lot of their popular dishes are now available here and still look fantastic and goodvalue. I cannot recommend more highly.
