Had late lunch so opted for fish and chips and wife had cold beef salad. Served fast and fresh and large serving. The beetroot was delicious, must be homegrown! Kearan & Tait were our hosts and gave us excellent professional attention. Could'nt go away without sampling cake so tried home made apple tart and cream. Like my mother made!!Will be back. Parking convenient near Church.

Having been diverted off the M7 we stopped in Dooley's for a quick snack. The cakes are homemade and delicious. Even though it was late they made up a sandwich for or dairy/nut allergic son. The tea was so refreshing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And you can post a letter there too. Wonderful old-fashioned spot worth diverting for.

This cafe is only open a short while and I've already been here four times. Everytime I've visited I've gone 'wow' and every time I've promised myself to come back to try something different. So far I've had cappuccinos galore, several scones, pancakes with bacon and syrup, and an open crabmeat sandwich, apple pies etc. All are faultless, without exception. The coffees are as good as I've ever been served anywhere. Now, and here's my big surprise, I tried one of their breakfast teas on my first visit and was very pleasantly surprised. I'm not a tea drinker, but this tea ticked all the right boxes for me. Everything is served in beautiful white china and just the right amount. The cafe is beautifully furnished, down to the delicate touch of a tealight per table. Kelsey and Shauna are lovely and friendly. Fiona is beaming. The added attraction of a quality crafts shop adjoining the cafe is a bonus. The cafe is bright, lightsome and just, well, feels good. The cafe has been very very busy since opening and space is very limited. I'm not sure if they do bookings but if it's important for you and you don't wish to wait, I recommend that you book in advance. It's lovely to see something like this in Kilworth which, up to now, has lacked any cafe facilities.
