Aunt Helen's Coffee Cake, Chocolate Croissants, Chocolate Cherry Scones, Ham and Swiss Everything Croissants are fantastic! Closed Monday. Cash only. Everything else looks wonderful too....take a bag of goodies to the surfer beach and watch the show...good beach on a budget for local NYers. The A train all the way to Broad Channel. the Shuttle to 90th/Holland. Walk towards the beach, make a left on Rock Beach Blvd.

The essence of a restaurant is the food. Everything else is secondary. The choices here are varied and multiple and are tasty. Hence the rating. The service is very slow. Especially when the place is busy. Very slow. Annoyingly slow. However, slow service with good food beats fast service with poor food. It IS noisy. The price is reasonable To me, since the taste of the food is the bottom line, I recommend eating here. Just expect background noise and slow service.

Nice fresh hot bagels, pizza is good (same pizza guy as before) good salads and excellent service. I stop here every morning on the way to work for breakfast and coffee
