Set overlooking the picturesque harbour at Porlock Weir, the Harbour Gallery and Cafe opened in April 2014. The Gallery showcases beautiful work by talented artists, with work including painting, ceramics and jewellery, with exhibitors changing every 8-10
We had walked from Bossington and wanted a lunch. We had visited before and were aware of the Gallery/Cafe so made it our lunch stop. I had the cheese platter and my wife had the smoked trout salad. Both were excellent and asked down with the apple juice. An enjoyable stop and we were able to get a seat inside as it was threatening to rain, but it didn't and we emerged to sunshine and noted other customers enjoying their meals in the sun!

We received a very warm welcome at the copper kettle, on a very wet day! Huge jacket potato lunch and our cockapoo was made very welcome too. We were able to stay for a second cuppa and could have stayed all afternoon! Delightful place.Thank you for your visit and very kind words hope to see you again

We had walked from Minehead along the Coast Path and arrived here to find it full of similar walkers with their rucksacks! You sit in a lovely garden with splendid moorland views. The owner had put a water dispenser and glasses which was a nice touch. We had a cream tea and my wife, who is a bit of an expert, remarked at the quality of the jam and the cream. The scones were nicely warmed too.A thoroughly pleasant way to wind away an hour in a wonderful part on England.

I recently had a very good lunch at this small, homely cafe on the High Street, in the heart of Porlock Village. The place is small in size but the menu is not, and there is a special board of the day as well with different lunch dishes. Freshly prepared and cooked food. I could see my lunch being prepared from the table I was sat at. The homemade cakes and scones looked fresh and tasty as well. I got chatting to the couple next to my table, they had expected to be rushed as they had only ordered a pot of tea but they were not. I was pleased myself with the portion size, the very good prices and the good service.

Visited Horner Tea Gardens (again!) today, after a beautiful walk around the cliffs from North Hill in Minehead. Enjoyed a delicious cream tea in delightful settings in the glorious Bank Holiday Weekend sunshine! Tasty scones with cream and jam and a pot of tea... whatâs not to like?If I had one complaint? Maybe a jug of hot water to make the pot of tea go farther... other than that, it was perfect!

Please, please go in. This is an unprepossessing place from the outside but the food is outstanding. Fresh sandwiches are the freshest Iâve ever had anywhere. The bread was awesome, home made I assume. The fillings were generous and exceedingly fresh. I had the choice of teabag or loose leaf tea and there was quite a choice too. Add on friendly service, low prices, an attractive room and you have a winner.

What a lovely, peaceful little set-up for the two of us and our dog. The room was bright and airy and well-equipped with all you need for a few nights' stay. The full enclosed garden was an excellent bonus as it allowed our little dog to make the most of her stay too! The bed was very comfortable too. Loved the addition of home-made shortbread/flapjack daily! The breakfast was the best we have ever had in a B&B, with everything cooked the perfection and plenty of it. Regrettably we didn't visit the tea room for tea/cake as we were out all day during our stay but the cakes were baked fresh every morning and looked beautiful.Thankyou for writing such a lovely review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your break with us, and that you found our studio so comfortable. We pride ourselves on our freshly cooked breakfast and our homemade cakes and scones , and are so delighted that you enjoyed your breakfast so much , we very much hope to welcome you back in the future.

Long wait, how long does it take to cook breakfast? The owners obviously do not put customer service high on the list of priorities. Just another tourist passing through!!. It was not busy. 45 minutes to cook breakfast, we had finished our coffee. I like my coffee with my food11

Drove through Withypool and decided to stop for a coffee and cake in this quaint little tea room. It was so lovely. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. Coffee was really nice and cake was delicious - we went for the lemon drizzle and it was massive! Would definitely stop by again if we were in the area.
