Things to do in Emu Park
We were looking for a midday snack and some espresso coffee as we had driven 4hrs from emerald to Roslyn marina to travel to great Keppel island. Unfortunately the coffee prepared by the young shop assistant on a commercial barista machine was worse than instant coffee. Also the snacks purchased a pie, roll and pizza bun had had way too much salt added when cooked. They dropped the ball.
A great place to meet up with friends, or just a couple too . Love the different brewed beers , which change regularly , although they can get warm quick if buying the tasting paddle . We sometimes pay for 4 but just get 2 at a time . Friday night specials once a month are fabulous and our favourite, usually a musician playing great songs , amazing fresh cooked food and the atmosphere is lovely . Highly recommend even if its a little out of the town centre .

Just don't bother, nobody is connected, they're pretty much all frumpy as if your being there is a drag for them, they don't do a table service, employ kids, frown a lot.
Great coffee. Medium roast with an aroma of fruit and wood. The barista made me 2 excellent long blacks and we talked about coffee and cafes.Best coffee of about 6 cafes I've tried around Yeppoon, Byfield, Rosslyn Bay.ps I had a yummy muffin too. Delicious.

This cafe is owned by a lovely couple who provided us with great service and a yummy breakfast. The lady served us whilst her husband did the cooking.I'm fussy with coffee and this was great - I went back again the next day for a takeaway. Following the great experience I went back and got them to make us some sandwiches for lunch to take on our JetSki to the Island, which were just as nice. The lady provided us with a lot of my good local knowledge. The prices were very reasonable. I recommend this café. Its nice to support local business particularly a couple who were clearly working hard with no other staff assisting.

Found this amazing gem of a cafe'. The ladies who run it are friendly and quick to have a chat. The food is incredible. My wife and I had two different grazing pkatters. They were delicious. Most of the dips, sauces and relishes are freshly or home made. We decided to have desert and I had a pineapple upside down cake, which I haven't had since a kid, and it was delicious and took me back to my childhood. The Icecream which came with it was homemade. I looked over to others and the fish and chips look incredible. Do yourself a favour and visit this gem of a cafe'.

Not a bad little spot, tapas were nice even although most of them were deep fried, however you can understand the reason why when you see how busy it gets. Pizzas are nice, build your own and cooked in a wood fired oven. All the staff are kept busy and are very friendly and helpful. Worth a visit.

Very bad bruschetta I love bruschetta but this was terrible. The toast was not grilled with garlic and olive oil but simply but in the toaster. There was nice vinegary taste that you usually have with bruschetta which should have an tomato and basil base. It was very dry and tasteless.

Nice coffee with beautiful wall painting, a little surprise next to the Emu Park Art Gallery. Obviously art is a big thing here as they have a cute bathroom for little beach town! Check it out at Kerr Park Beach front! I love it!

Called in for a late lunch one day and got a variation to the menu items with a smile and prompt service. The food and coffee were very good. Returned next morning for breakfast and had a delicious, huge omelette. Again, service with a smile. The coffee, being coffee lovers from Melbourne, was very good. The cafe has a good location in the village and sitting outside enables one to watch the passing holiday parade. Highly recommended.
