It lies east of Stroudsburg and is somewhat more populous than that town. East Stroudsburg is the largest municipality in the East Stroudsburg, PA Metropolitan Statistical Area as designated by the Office of Management and Budget based on data from the 2010 US Census.

We recently had some business in the Poconos to attend to. We visited the town of Stroudsburg. Saw a good crowd of folks going into the Cure Cafe and decided to try it. They have a varied menue and we were very pleased with our selections. The place is not big but very clean and and service was outstanding. I believe they only do breakfasts and lunch, no late dinners.Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review!!

Was shopping with our family at the crossings and passed by the tasting room , they had the USA womenâs World Cup soccer match on so we stopped in for a few drinks and ended up staying for the whole game. Bartender and manager were very friendly talked to us about the place as well as offered us some suggestions from the drink menu. I had smoked old fashion which was excellent , my wife had a cosmo. there were plenty of activities for the kids even a piano that my daughter started playing ( who knew she could play ) . Food menu is limited , and food was ok had the grilled cheese sandwich as well as chips and salsa . Would stop in again if at the crossing. We almost missed this place as we rarely shop on that side of the crossings - but glad we found it !Thanks for the wonderful shout out.The Tasting Room opened April 2019 and is a new addition to the fun Barley Creek has been trying to create for our guests since opening the Original Barley Creek just up the road in 1995 - It's a work in progress - and the team is excited make it work and surprise everyone bold enough to check us out. Wonderful service and freshly prepared food. The omelet and toast is so good. We also love "Everything But the Bagel". Salads are unique and fresh. My kids love the mac n cheese burger and the grilled cheese. Everything we have there is delicious and the beer selection is so fun to peruse before you make a selection!

Always a fave. Consistently good. Sublime taste in all we have ordered. Unique blends of the finest quality ingredients blended with the loving care of the proprietors. We keep hoping they will move this wonderful new establishment to a larger space. Go early, as there is often a line waiting. Word is out they are fantastic! Highly recommended.

Husband visiting the area discovered this hidden gem and am so glad he did. Owner Debbie has the gift of remembering names and choices. We sat at the bar, where new visitors are introduced and the conversation lively and enjoyable. The food is high quality. Don't miss the muffins such as the almond joy or the peach pineapple which another patron highly recommended. Good food, welcoming company and great conversation. Once you go - it's like visiting home each time. Highly recommend.
