Vibe: Ultra low key. On this Winterâs day the âshedâ was initially cold and breezy. After the staff set up the heater it was toasty.Food: Mussels 100 ways! I had the chefâs selection of the day. It was around 30 mussels in a soy and chillie based stock. Rated 11/10! My partnerâs scallop pie was pretty good.Service: Staff were great company and knowledgeable.Drinks: Bellarine Brewery makes a mussel stout for them. Self described flavours of âCoffee, liquorish and a lingering taste of the seaâ. Almost like a cola/sarsaparilla with strong liquorish flavour. Sharp taste. Very weird but not unpleasantGreat experience all around, and good value for money.

Housed in an invitingly converted roadhouse, PIKNIK started out making preserves from forgotten fruits 'picked' and 'nicked' from backyards on the Bellarine Peninsula. PIKNIK is a unique cafe and store at the heart of the Bellarine Taste Trail. Drop in fo
Super service. Great coffee delivered immediately. My calamari was so fresh and tasty. Friends' food of corn and coriander fritters was wonderful and especially appropriate as he had trouble using one hand. Was easy to break up. Reportedly delicious. Quirky setting. Recommended.

One of Victoria's best plant Nurseries, with many awards. Add in an eclectic quirky gift shop, and a cafe with pleasant staff and delicious food, and you have a delightful place to visit. We usually stop for garden supplies at some of the regions best prices, and then wander into the cafe for a BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato etc in a bun), then back out to walk it off by looking around the nursery or gift shop.Highly recommend.

The Mr Grubb Cafe, offers an exciting menu of share plates, salads, pizzas, burgers and sliders. We are also open for breakfast, coffee and cake. Or simply to enjoy a glass of Oakdene wine. You can sit, relax & take in the garden views or dine outside amo
Expecting a quiet Monday lunch we were surprised at the number of people roaming around outside but on entering the restaurant we noticed that a business meeting was being held and catered for. This was not a problem for us as we were in no rush.Mr Grubb is worth a visit and the menu offers something for everyone. I had the Gammon steak with pineapple and fries, it was perfectly cooked but way too much to eat! The beef brisket tacos were light and tasty. Thanks for your review of our cafe. We are glad you enjoyed your meal with us.
It was late in the afternoon and very hot out. I have followed this coffee venue and admired the photos of wonderful and delicious looking meals and cakes . After a pre Christmas shop at the nearby Woolworths I was ready to take a break and have a snack here.,it looks out onto the road. I ordered a slice of vegetable tart, just to help the slump. The lady said the kitchen was closed, she can microwave. I was ok with that. It seemed a long wait for one item. I saw her take the tart out of the display case but it wasn't arriving. After 15 minutes, my husband got up to check the status. She had passed the order on to another and he had forgotten so we would have been there forever. When he brought my order over, he was apologetic and offered a free coffee next time. That was a nice touch, unexpected. The piece of vegie tart was hot, delicious and appealing to the eye. Just one little piece on the plate with a small dish of chutney or tomato sauce on the side. This cost $9. I would have liked some salad but didnt ask and the price would have gone up. I recommend this place. There is a tiny mall inside with a chemist, liquor shop, supermarket and some gift shops there as well as an optometrist and clothing shop. The food is high standard in this cafe.. The toasted sandwiches looked large and everything in the display case, colourful and appetising. Yes they forgot me but it happens and at least I can go back for my coffee.

Whenever we just want to get a quick coffee or lunch, this little cafe does a good job. It can get a wee bit noisy at time, because they have a kids section, but the food is always fresh, and the coffee is good.

This older style house has been altered to accommodate indoor and outdoor areas, rooms for larger gatherings or meetings or just a table for two. There is an extensive menu and a large range of sweet delights...coffee is good and the service is friendly....would have no hesitation in returning.

Ground Zer0 Cafe is open 6 days a week for breakfast and lunch, providing delicious coffee, fresh juice, homemade muffins, slices and freshly baked bread.
We've had breakfast and lunches here. Food is delicious and well priced. There's a good selection of cakes and rolls as well as cooked meals. Coffee is really good too. Service is quick and good and staff are very friendly. The chef even makes loaves of bread that you can buy!!
