Award Winning Butchery, Delicatessen & Cafe Bistro based in Moira Co.Down. Home of 2011 Great Taste Award Supreme Champion product Hand Made Corned Beef. Established over 140 years and run by the fifth & sixth generations of the McCartney family.
I arrived solo for brunch and after taking a table was seemingly ignored by several passing waitresses until I eventually called one over to give my order. Brunch of poached eggs and avocado with bacon was nice enough but not as good as avocaâs version in Belfast. Overall average.

My friend and I decided to stop here for tea and cake. We were impressed by the way we were greeted and allocated a table. There was a good selection of cakes and tray bakes. Although it was busy the staff were efficiently working to ensure orders were prepared and given to customersWe had the most delicious french lemon yoghurt cake which was scrummy even though it was a huge portion. Our tea came in very trendy teapots which impressed my friendWhat was really surprising was the price which was very reasonable. Whenever I am in Hillsborough for work I love visiting this place for lunch. They are always super friendly and the food is great and really good prices too. Today I had the cheddar, bacon and onion marmalade panini (a favourite of mine) and as usual it didnât disappoint. Definitely give this cute little cafe a try.

We called in here for breakfast on the way to our holiday destination. It was superb. The staff were warm and friendly. We had the Soda Stack (cooked breakfast) and it was outstanding. All of the ingredients were delicious and the sausage was of particular note. The cakes and scones were homemade and delicious. We will be detouring to here on our way back!

A small locally owned cafe, where good customer service in a warm inviting environment were delicious food is severed
Stopped a lady on the street and asked if she knew of a cafe close by. She said there's a lovely wee cafe just down the street so of we trotted. It was lovely and clean and friendly. There are 4 tables for two sitting on a kind of open air verandah but sheltered from the pouring rai, we chose to sit there as it was quite a humid day. Inside there were lots of lovely pastries and bakes. There were a lot of occupied seats inside but in no time at all we had a lovely girl come and take our order. All staff were lovely and helpful and efficient.

Approximately 2 miles on the Dromore side from the centre of Hillsborough village, is the beautiful Mill Farm Deli and country apartments. With a beautiful outside dining area and a cottage barn style dining interior, Mill Farm is a piece of peace from breakfast and coffee catch-ups, to a tranquil evening restaurant. Delicious homemade, high quality and affordable food, with detail in presentation is very affordable here, for even the smallest budget. Watch out for the daily specials for that extra treat and enjoy the tranquility and great welcome.
I revisited this place and the fish I saw being served to others in front of me had a very dark batter but the fish I was served was overcooked, had a dark coloured batter and was dry inside whilst the onion rings were saturated in cooking oil to the point that the oil was all you could taste.Such a big difference from the last time I went here.

Called in on Saturday for a coffee but when I seen the dinners that were being served I changed my mind. I had a lovely dinner of boiled ham with boiled & roast potatoes and fresh vegetables. This was a fantastic dinner. I never knew this restaurant was here & I only live 4 mile away. Will definitely be back!Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.
