We are an independent community café, serving fresh locally sourced, home cooked food. We have been featured in the BBC Good Food Magazine as one of the top ten places to eat in Exeter; we won 2018 café of the year at the Exeter Living Awards, and we have

Independent, Dog friendly cafe, quickly building a reputation for its unique and hearty breakfasts. Sat by the waters edge, on a summers day you can watch the world go by with a cup off coffee and a book, or a glass of wine with company. We believe in loc
This has been my favourite place to eat in Exeter for 12 years now. The food is always delicious and the staff are lovely! My only sadness is that you no longer do the delicious sweet chilli beef wraps you used to do when I studied in Exeter. But I also understand menus need to change! Seriously though, this is a wonderful place to eat, especially on a sunny day when you can eat outside and admire the beautiful views of the quay! Hi there, Thank you for your lovely comments! Iâm so pleased to hear you enjoy our cafe so much. I believe the beef wrap was old ownership however, we will have a look at the old menu and see if we can revive something similar ready for the winter as I have heard this before! :)Thanks again, we look forward to your return! A perfect find for travelers and locals looking for somewhere to stop for something to eat and drink on their journeys to and from the west country! With friendly staff, outside sheltered smoking area and child friendly, it really is the perfect find! Loc
We have eaten lunch there several times now and have never been disappointed. Very friendly, efficient service and can particularly recommend Chicken and Ham Chowder and my personal favourite, Smoked Haddock Chowder. The only downside, my husband had chips, which were very disappointing. We did not stop to complain as we were in a hurry, but would think twice before having them again. Everything else could not be faulted.

Sat in Cosy Club for 15 minutes watching the staff faff about with only a handful of customers, I got bored and left (they knew I was there, they sat me down and gave me a menu even though I said "it's okay, I know what I want"). I went to Drakes as I hadn't been in the place for years and I will certainly be going back. To be fair to Cosy Club and their fellow Lounges they do great bacon butties, but Drakes do them even better. Delicious bacon and superb bread - ten out of ten! Oh, and they don't ignore their customers. Cosy's loss is Drakes' gain.A great review ! Thank you so much for your kind words ! I have to say our bacon butties are fab, top quality bacon and hand cut fresh bread which we have delivered daily from a local bakery. We do hope you visit again and thank you once more for your comments.

The Welcome Cafe is a family run independent business serving locally sourced and home cooked food, with Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free options available. A modern cafe selling Art Work. With Sunday_collab coffee and Teas Me loose leaf tea. We are open
On a dreary wet Friday afternoon the Welcome delivered tasty fresh food with a smile - itâs well worth finding, just donât expect to park outside as the walk will do you good. Will be back to sample more, particularly the bewildering choice of cake - need a tasting platter

Came here on a recommendation and had a Turkish mezze salad. There's an excellent range of GF food, and just a simple salad is amazing! There are so many things to try on the menu and it's good tasty authentic food. It's not a children's restaurant and it has nothing to do with Dinosaurs! We happily got fed and enjoyed the easy cafe feel to it.

One of the few cafes in the busy Devonshire town of Crediton. Serves breakfast and lunch with a large selection of sandwiches. Was surprised not to see it on Tripadvisor. :)
Me and my little boy popped in here for a little morning snack. Staff were efficient and friendly. Everywhere was very clean including the toilets. Wide menu, loads for veggies and great value. The coffee was unexpectedly really good and the strawberry milkshake was a delight for my boy.

Came into Poppy's with some hungry friends and left feeling well satisfied !! lovely freshly cooked English Breakfasts all round couldn't fault a thing well worth a visit if you prefer a good food brekky rather than a greasy spoons. the prices were very fair for the quality of meals as well. Looking forward to visiting again sometime. You wont believe how elated we felt to receive this review.Mondays is always the quietest day of the week. Our Chef/Owner is off with a slipped disc and we thought we could cope with just 2 of us.Imagine our surprise when we learnt that Wetherspoons kitchen was closed and we were inundated with customers.Thankyou for your patience and glad to hear that your meal was to your liking.Hoperfully next time you join us we might be able to offer you a little more attention.Thankyou again for for kind review.
A delicatessen and bistro in the heart of the market town of Crediton. We sell all sorts of locally produced Westcountry things. Specialising in cheese and charcuterie, come in and try one of deli boards or just relax with a cup of locally produce, small
Stopped for breakfast with my family. What a delicious surprise. An array of delicious things to buy before you even get chance to order. The orange juice is freshly squeezed in front of you, which my children loved and the breakfast was amazing! Best bacon I have ever had! Eggs were done to perfection If you are looking for a place to stop for breakfast or a spot of lunch from local suppliers! Look no further! Truly delicious deli. I will be back for some hampers!

We went for lunch. It was 4 o clock and the lady said they werenât doing any, but maybe they could pull something off for us. She offered some vegetarian fritters with two salads and a green salad. She said they could also do hummus. She asked us to sit down to have a look at the menu, and in the menu they had a few dishes they were cooking all day... we asked if we could ordered some and she said she was already doing us some lunches... well, thanks for letting us choose. It would have been ok if the lunches werenât absolutely crap. The salads, one was very greasy, and the other very sour. No green salad. The fritter was discussing. It was cold, dry, and it had 2pieces of butternut squash in it. The hummus it was more like a tahini sauce than hummus. Plus when we went to pay it came to almost £30... surely that fritter canât cost any more than a fiver? It was seriously not good. Also, she should have told us they had some other food for sale. We felt that they just gave us whatever they were going to put in the bin for the day, maybe thatâs why they didnât give us a choice?
