Had a very nice lunch here on the specials menu. The food was really good and the servers were very friendly. Will be back now for the supper specials and on the Thursday for that special. Great food!

This little cafe is located in the Best Western Hotel in Cranbrook, BC. (I recommend this hotel bye the way.) I was there for breakfast on my own. The owners and staff were very friendly, and very efficient. I ordered a full breakfast and it was quick, precisely what I ordered, and very good quality. If a person is staying at the Best Western it just makes sense to have breakfast here. They are open from early until 3:00 in the afternoon every day. Met friends three times in January for breakfast and coffee! Such a warm and inviting place to meet! The light from the windows is amazing and the greenery around the room give this space a cozy feeling!! I had the avocado toast with lox and capers delicious, my friend had the mushroom soup that she said was to die for it had morel mushrooms in it! I am in love with the pink latte!

We decided to go out for breakfast and chose the Cottage because we hadn't been here for breakfast before. My wife has had lunch here many times and new the food was good.I had the breakfast sandwich which had egg, bacon and cheddar cheese on it. Toasted on their bread that they make in house. Nice thick bread. The sandwich was excellent and would have fed us both. My wife had the bacon and eggs which also came with hash browns and a slice of toast, again with their bread. Again it was very good. Prices were very decent and service very good. I believe it is open for breakfast and lunch and closes later in the afternoon.This is a nice small, local restaurant. Located a couple of blocks off Highway 3 on 9th avenue. If you are east bound on Highway 3 turn right at the first traffic light on the way into town. This puts you on 9th Ave so just proceed straight through the first light and you will fine the Cottage on the right about half way down this block.It was very good as expected and we will go back again.

We visited Cranbrook for a golf tournament and visited Soul Food twice for breakfast. The food was wholesome and delicious. With a variety of Gluten Free and vegetarian options, everyone in our group enjoyed their food. The meat eaters in our group were also happy with their choices. Everything served was locally sourced and organic. They make their win preserves and hand. We Highly recommend this restaurantThank you kindly!!
