Called in for breakfast and lunch whilst house hunting. Lovely atmosphere not too many tables and delicious home made food. The pork sandwich with crunchy crackling and stuffing in a ciabatta with chunky chips and jummy gravy was worth coming back for. All the meals look good. Not expensive. Bought a house and we will be back.

A home from home. Amazing tasting food and cakes at very good prices. Staff are so lovely and friendly it is such nice place to get lunch or coffee and cake. Lucky it's on our doorstep!

Really just stumbled across this place. Was just looking for a sandwich and saw the menu and went in. Seating is cramped as its very busy but shared a table and it was no bother at all. Ordered 3 different dishes, nicholson crispy bacon sandwich/rice bowl with pork/nicholson steak bowl. Each dish was brilliant, tasty and tangy and filling. Free fruit water was available. Really impressed and will deffo go back.

Absolutely brilliant visit here, staff couldn't be more friendly along with fast service but food still freshly cooked! A great range of food catering for everyone wether your vegan, vegetarian or a full meat eater. Couldn't recommend this place more, we will definitely be back.

Wonderfully friendly staff get you off to a great start at The Parlour, they are genuine, friendly and professional/knowledgeable. They offer a slightly unique menu mix of either 'formal' afternoon tea or a brasserie lunch-type menu. Food is good value as it is elevated to 'chef-y' levels with obvious home-made dishes, little extra touches and ingredients you can actually identify (like fresh horseradish on dishes using roast beef for example). However the cost is no greater than typical mass-market catering. Afternoon teas tend to range from £10-£20 up here and, at £14, this offers a £20-level experience at a substantial discount. Portion size is 'just right'. I loved this place so much I visited for the first time with a friend on Thursday and hurriedly returned with Mrs J on Monday......and I am usually someone who gets out about twice a year!! Comfy and nicely styled surroundings finish the whole experience off nicely. Thoroughly recommended.

Small café within the Dunelm Mill store. Plenty of free parking. On first floor, steps or lift to access. Breakfasts till 11:30. Limited lunch choice of pre-prepared sandwiches, toasties and paninis, soup or jacket potatoes, all done nicely. Side salads small but fresh. Coffee really good. Not enough staff manning counter at busy periods (should have one person dedicated to coffee making while others serve food). Nice range of good-looking cakes. Staff always polite and helpful

Excellent place to relax and enjoy pleasant surroundings. Grandkids loved it and a good variety of snacks and food. Pleasant service with nice staff. Very nice place to visit and look around as well as for eats.
