Reviews on Cafe food in Cowes, England, United Kingdom. Cowes (/kaʊz/) is an English seaport town and civil parish on the Isle of Wight. Cowes is located on the west bank of the estuary of the River Medina, facing the smaller town of East Cowes on the east bank. The two towns are linked by the Cowes Floating Bridge, a chain ferry.

Stopped by to try their Mega Breakfast, and was given a cheap and nasty catering quality, overcooked offering, which wasnât helped with the equally cheap catering quality instant coffee. This at getting on for £13 for it and two coffees, made it very expensive for what it was.For what was served to me, it was exceptionally poor value for money and very disappointing especially as I have been here in the past when it was much better. For a Café the surroundings were good enough, and the service okay, it was the food that was at fault.Unfortunately all in all, it was quite a let down.

We visited on a quiet weekday afternoon but there was still a regular stream of customers coming in to buy cake, the place is clearly well known! We had been recommended to visit by a friend and their recommendation was certainly worthwhile! We had a huge slice of Nutella cake and another of Biscoff cake plus a superb homemade Millionaires Shortbread washed down with tea and coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a very enjoyable visit. There are a few sofas and tables in the cafe - beware the tables made of old beer kegs are a little wobbly! The cake is highly recommended, itâs good value and we would definitely return.

Came across this little gem quite by accident. Right on the sea front. Only disappointment was that they finished serving breakfast at 11.00, half hour before our visit. Still plenty of alternatives on the menu. We were so impressed with the food and service we went back the next day, got there at 10.30 and enjoyed a full English. Will visit again and will recommend to others.

We had used the floating bridge to get over to East Cowes and looked for a stop for lunch. Bright, open cafe with outdoor seating with room for pushchairs and high chairs. Enjoyed their all day breakfast and the staff were friendly.

At 6 am, what a find! Excellent authentic cappuccinos with New York style Bagels in a pleasant bright little shop.

This is a real find and a great place for breakfast. Enjoy brilliant sea views whilst enjoying fantastic home cooked food. The service is first class and the food the same. We visited on food Friday when it was busy but the staff were very friendly and we loved every minute. This is a perfect place for breakfast on the IOW.

Eegon's of Cowes is a well known and legendary cafe in Cowes, Isle of Wight in England. It has a 5 Star Food and Hygiene Rating. Everyone is welcome. It has superb meals at great value and is famous for filling up if you are at The Isle of Wight Festival
As soon as you walk in you get greeted by the staff but I found it a bit strange that there was no radio/music or anything of the sort playing. It was VERY quiet and it made the atmosphere not so welcoming. I had the half breakfast with hash browns on the side and it was quite pricey. It was very tasty but I would expect more for the money paid.

This was done to perfection served with a little salad. Very tasty and home cook style food. Served with two coffees. Perfect Sunday lunch snack! This is a little gem of a place not to be missed.

Small, friendly cafe offering a range of dishes to tickle your tastebuds. Including full English breakfast, panini, jacket potatoes, burgers and more. We also offer delicious milkshakes and refreshing smoothies on top of our extensive hot drink selection
What a welcome to the Island. After a very early start this morning I went to Sails Cafe for my breakfast and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The decor is of a high standard and as for the Sailors Breakfast it was excellent. You could tell that this was local produce and not something mass produced on your plate. It is the best back bacon I have tasted for such a long time and what made it even better, Black Pudding was on the menu and well thank you from someone who loves this breakfast offering.Thank you so much, weâre glad you enjoyed your experience, we hope to see you again :)
