We rang ahead from Takaka for lunch in case they were busy as we understand they have limited tables inside and it was raining on this particular day. When we arrived our table had been reserved as promised and we sat down to a most enjoyable lunch of homemade pasta of the day and a beautiful soup. The service was excellent and the chef kindly replaced the mushrooms in the pasta as I am not big on mushrooms. The menu is a bit limited but complemented by a cabinet full of pre made options. Highly recommended.

Interesting name but the service, food and the staff/management are extremely cooperative, informative as well as presenting extremely good food. Try the venison if it's available, managed both breakfast and dinner here and was not dissapointed. If in the area a visit is well worth it, did I mention it has a interesting art gallery as well???
