Wandered into this high street cafe after a long journey, very tired and hungry. Lots of locals eating so a good sign. Ordered chowder to start then fishcakes. Chowder was exceptional, possibly the best ever and the soda bread with it was so tasty. Half a carafe of pinot grigio and fishcakes to die for. They melted in my mouth and were light and tangy, absolutely delicious. The desserts looked incredible, especially the bread and butter pudding and I must go back. A great find and highly recommend,

We went in for tapas which I had heard were good. The menu looked very interesting! Plenty of variety and interesting combinations. I couldn't decide what I wanted and we ended up ordering 4 dishes. They also gave us bread to soak up the sauces afterwards. We couldn't finish. Each of the dishes had several tastes interacting in different ways and any one would have been great on its own. Looking forward to going back to taste the rest of the menu - one at a time though!

Betty Brosnan's is a family owned business located on Clonakilty's main street that serves delicious homemade and locally sourced meals, baked goods and coffees. Open 9-5pm, hot food served until 4.30pm.
Had breakfast at Bettyâs and were not disappointed. Food well presented, plentiful and very, very tasty. Itâs unfortunately quite crowded, with the maximum of punters squeezed into the tiny cafe. Makes standing up and walking around a very precarious affair. Stil, worth the visit.

Established cafe/restaurant Clonakilty
Gearoidins is a small cafe come restaurant in the main street of Clonakilty. An understated gem known by the Locals for its excellence, super-charged charismatic & hard working owner (Geraldine) and the freshness of everything that comes from the kitchen. So the Locals do not spread the word as this dining gem only has seating capacity for c 25 guests. We particularly love Gearoidins for its scones but there is a daily array of tempting cakes and savoury dishes such as crab meat sandwiches, soups etc. Really worth a visit. You will fall in love with the staff, the food and the prices

I have eaten her lots of times and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and tasty. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The daily specials are delicious. My favourite is the chicken broccoli bake. They have recently expanded to some outside tables but with the Irish weather as it is, it is rare to be able to sit outside. The prices are not cheap but are reasonable enough considering the quality. Happy to 100% recommend.

My Husband tried here for a cuppa first, and came home raving it. Knew it was in town, but had never gone there. The two of us popped in for a snack subsequently, and it was delicious beyond expectations. We both had bruchetta . Amazingly fresh. Tomatoes were so tasty, and appeared just prepared. The staff are so lovely. A beautiful young girl, so pleasant and friendly with a wonderful demeanour. Will now be a regular spot for us.Don't pass it by, pop in and see for yourself. We really enjoyed. Many thanks for your glowing review. Yes we prepare all the food at the time of ordering. On occasion it may take a little time but the food is guaranteed freshly prepared. We work as a team so the staff love their job, and it shows. Thanks for taking the time to review Molly's Café and Wine bar. We hope to see you again soon. Dena O'Donovan proprietor.
