Very appealing look to this cafe. Big wooden tables and floorboards- all very Bo-Ho! Man serving behind the counter really looks the part. Heâs very confident and gives a great service. The food was impressive. Dark, crusty baguettes filled with artichoke and other roasted veg, feta cheese and olives. A banana bread cake with walnuts was homemade and tasted incredible. With this we had coffee.Very glad dogs are welcome.Iâm looking forward to coming back soon.

Super-friendly and helpful staff + absolutely delicious food...a great lunch in town.We shared Welsh rarebit and a goat's cheese pannini because we we both wanted both, and the staff divvied them up for us between our two plates.Such flavours...spot-on.With easy access ramps, a good menu from morning coffees through to afternoon teas, indoor and outdoor seating and good value, Fleur de Lis is one of our faves in highly competitive Christchurch. My one gripe - not enough to prevent 5/5 though - is the wasp trap on the tree. How about changing it to a Waspinator...wasp-friendly and just as effective.

The Beach House restaurant is situated on the harbour side of the sand spit at Hengistbury Head and enjoys stunning views across the harbour, Hengisbury Head and Mudeford Quay. Hengistbury Head is a car free zone meaning bike, boat or a leisurely stroll a
Popped in during our walk for liquid refreshments. Very expensive, two beers, a Prosecco and a water were 20p off £20. Also several noisy uncontrolled kids running around the indoor area. So we enjoyed our drinks, but felt it both in the ears and in the pocket.

Having seen the reviews here on TripAdvisor we decided to pay the cafe a visit. Unfortunately the minestrone soup was tasteless; the veg were over cooked and we were given sachets of salt and pepper! No hint of herbs, garlic or any seasoning. Disappointing. The ciabatta was lovely however. The owner was lovely and very welcoming but we were there to enjoy our lunch and were sorely disappointed. The meatballs were like warm and tasteless too.

Despite the awful weather today a delightful visit to this cafe. Stunning views, attentive staff, lovely food. The best thing I liked was the 100% removal of everything on the table, then cleaned including the chairs, crumbs from floor as well. Dont even get that in the Premier inn we are staying at.Thank you for your 5* review Afternoon tea served at Cliffhanger whatever the weather is always a winner!Really pleased you had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Cliffhanger and enjoyed the lovely food and looked after by attentive staff..Hopefully see you in the dryer weather.Weâve got lots planned for Christmas not only our evening tribute nights but breakfast with Santa plus a Choir on two Sunday afternoons in December all dished up with our superb Christmas lunch menu..

A visit here is almost a day out in itself! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the Garden Centre stocks a wide range of healthy plants for both indoors and out and a wide variety of garden ornaments. they also have seasonal themes and events going on most of the year. To take the weight off your feet Edward's Café is a very pleasant place to while away some time with a tea of coffee and something to eat.

We had lunch here on two days - both excellent. From our outside table we watched the sailing boats, kite surfers and windsurfers with a view of the Needles in the distance and the sound of the waves lapping on the beach. Our food was excellent - fish and chips, warm ciabatta sandwich, ham, egg and chips; but the undoubted star was the toasted bacon and sausage sandwich - so well-filled, delicious and great value too. With the addition of its friendly, helpful staff, this place is unmissable!
